Pricey but well worth it.
I have now had my ARB Jack for over two years now. It has replaced my Hi-Lift that I bought in 1970. I have had none of the negative issues pointed out in other reviews. Great jack.

Broken prior to use
I was looking for a safer alternative to the hi-lift Jack. This one seem to fit the bill. Ignoring the fact that this product is very expensive, I was hoping the build quality would be worth the money. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! the locking latch which are made of plastic immediately broke during a function check. I lost confidence in this product and would not recommend it to anyone who might rely on it for recovery!

Safest hi-lift jack on the market easy to use
Super light and compact and way safer than a hi-lift farm jack. Stores easily in the back of a JLU in the provided padded storage bag. High priced, but catch it on sale and it is worth it. The price is cheaper than a trip to the dentist or repair to a body panel when that Farm jack slips, pops and goes flying :-) it is not intended to be used as a winch like a hi-lift can and if you use it to jack out it is a little slow compressing under your body weight in colder environments but under normal use to change a tire no issues at all. Also works great for breaking beads for field single side beadlock tire replacements. By far the safest hi-lift device i have seen in 30 years of off roading. Great job ARB... PRO - safest hi-lift on the market that your gal or kid can use it as the hydraulics are effortless up and down. CON- as expensive as a base line lift kit. Reduce the price by 200 bucks and ARB will open up a whole new market...average price 750 vs 120 for a hi-lift farm jack. Top shelf engineering ARB!

Easy to use and a great product
This thing is awesome! I used to use a Hi-Lift Jack and replaced it with this. It was a big upgrade but well worth the money spent. It is easy to use, I can lift my Jeep up with my pinky now and so so so much safer than a Hi-Lift is. The only downside is you cannot use this like a come-along like with Hi-Lift but if you have a winch its no worries at all. I cannot recommend this more!

Showed Up With Leakage, Seems To Work Great
Showed up with some leakage in the box so I thought it might be defective. Worked with the unit and I was able to get it to work fine so I’ve kept it. The unit itself is awesome, very easy and safe to use and gets my Jeep up for a tire change in less than 2 minutes. Great product, might want to let us know we can expect hydraulic fluid leakage during shipping.

Geat Jack - very fine for those 65+ (us) BUT
Super expensive but beautiful Jack - very fine for seniors (me) BUT, read the manual carefully first particularly about lowering. Store vertically. Takes a good deal of effort to lower the last fractions of an inch to release it from the vehicle AND takes a good deal of effort to then finish lowering it. -- Follow the instructions in the manual. It comes with a heavy duty carrying case with webbing handles -- way too fancy and bulky for outside vertical storage Tech support ( customer service) needs more attention/resources from Corporate and they need to put their manuals online with links on the product pages.

DO NOT BUY THIS JACK. IT IS A POS
The jack did not work correctly straight out of the box. It would not release pressure and go back down after being jacked up. I brought it into ARB in Renton, they collapsed the Jack with a forklift and said it would get better over time, it was just a stiff jack. Fast forward a couple years, to when I had to use the Jack in real world, and it failed to build pressure and Jack up this time. I am now fighting with ARB for a replacement or repair. NO LUCK YET.

Vehicle Recovery Nightmare
We purchased the Jack about a month ago for a trip to the Rubicon. Because I’m not running 40” tires. This jack came in very handy. We used the familiar farm jack in the past. With near deadly results. Talk about a recovery nightmare. Not to mention the panel damage that was caused when the jack would slip out of place. Remember a trip to the hospital and or panel damage is not cheap. This jack provide all the height we needed to continue along our journey. And worked flawlessly. We had no issues with the ARB jack retracting back into place quickly. It came with a heavy duty carrying case. We did not get the plastic base. Although I will probably add that in the future. One of the cons about this Jack is it is quite a bit heavier than I expected. And the lack of additional accessories like wheel lift hooks or a connector for lifting at rockslides. Overall super satisfied. Highly recommend for anyone who is worried about getting bogged down or needs to get a corner in the air to help with obstacle clearance

Have bought 2 of these and both have not lasted the year before they creep down so much they are unusable.
