Great for the price - comfortable - potentially improves sound quality
I had tape on my original ANC9 headphone ear pads but they were starting to unravel a bit. I spent a couple of hours researching replacements - not wanting to spend quite as much as Audiotechnica was charging for theirs (about a third of the price of new pair of ANC9s.) I ordered these because at the price point, it was worth a risk. They ARE thinner than the original ear pads, but the size in the same. The materials and construction are on par or even better than the originals. I was concerned about the more shallow sound-space effecting base response, but if there is any effect it isn't noticeable. In fact, vocals seem cleaner with these pads (movie, tv watching etc.) They are slightly more comfortable than the originals - because the overall feel is the same - and they are slightly lighter which is an added bonus. Even after watching installation Youtube videos, it took me over 30 minutes to put on the first pad. But after learning the trick, it took less than 5 minutes to replace the second. Because they are thinner, you definitely want to replace both at the same time. EDIT: 2 1/2 years before they started cracking on the outside.

Perfect Fit , Comfortable and Lasted longer than OEM
As of today 2020-07-24, it's been 16 months since I bought these. The outer leatherette-looking layer started to strip after a year. I might just rub the rest of it off, to make it uniform and so that it matches the old headband.Despite that I still highly recommend these pads for the ANC-9. They're much cheaper than OEM yet, after over a year, they still haven't split down the inner seam like the OEM's and all the other cheap garbage you can find on here or EBAY.They were a little tight to put on but they're more comfortable , and definitely durable compared to the alternatives. The stripping hasn't compromised their usability like the usual split would have. Not perfect but worth the money.

good foam and construction, but a bit small
i purchased this set for my anc9's since the old pads were long since split on the inside of the cup, and were also separating away from their retaining ring. i was excited to know that these were made with proper memory foam and not the open cell stuff you can get for a few dollars on ebay or elsewhere. they arrived promptly and do seem to work well, but you do have to keep the old foam inner ring inside the plastic portion of the headphones. it's glued in anyway, so i dont think it will accidentally fall out during your installation.and speaking of installation, you can see from the photos that the new cups are rather a bit smaller than the ones i uninstalled, and therefore are quite tough to get installed. these may have stretched out over time, but they still have some elastic when removing or installing them, so i feel that the new pads are just manufactured smaller. i had to carefully and slowly ease the new pads onto the cups. luckily the band is rather reinforced at the edge so it shouldnt tear, but i still worried about the pressure i was putting on the mesh inside the cup.once installed, the cups do feel a hair smaller on the tops of my ears, but this could be because i was used to the blown out old foam cups. the leatherette is identical to the old cups as well, so i feel these are an accurate replica of the originals from AT. i just wish they were about 2mm bigger in just about every dimension.EDIT - i found that cup rotation on installation was very important, so slightly realigning the pads on the plastic cups for me helped with pinching a bit.

Good quality, but...
I bought these as a replacement for the ones that came on the headset, which had blown out. I am very pleased with the quality of the pads so far, they seem to be better than the original ones. However, there is a flaw in the design of these things. The plastic flare that slides into the sides of the headphones to secure them is just too damn big. I spent an hour trying to fit them in without tearing the product apart. Then I put my brain to work and figured out that if you take scissors and cut just a very small amount (like a couple mm) from the inside of the ring, it makes putting the pad on exponentially easier. Got them both on in minute after I did that, and they still fit securely.

a little thinner than original but comfortable and good fit
The original Audio-Technica pads seem to be made from some sort of heavy, dense foam and are thicker than these. These are both softer and a little thinner, and also very slightly narrower in diameter. They do fit the headphones properly though, by fitting a stiffened rim into the slot in the plastic, much better than the other brands that just have sticky tape to hold them in place. They don't seem likely to come loose or fall off.I actually kind of like these better - there's no need for the pads to be as deep as the originals, and the softer, lighter foam doesn't appear to impact the noise-canceling ability.

Good but I sorta wanna die
At the time I'm writing this review, I am trying to put these on my ATH-ANC9's. Getting the lip on these to slip onto the headphones is kinda like asking a woman to stop being annoying. It can't happen for a very long time (until she dies). So I kind of want to keep trying to get these on but I am also contemplating going bungee jumping. But instead of a bungee rope, I'll just have a noose around my neck so that when the rope runs out of slack, my head will viciously explode off of the rest of my body and all my troubles will go away forever. All jokes aside, the quality of these are great and I would definitely recommend (unless you are mentally depressed).

Trim it first
The plastic that holds the pad to the headphones is much too large compared to the original pads. You'll be fighting with it for a long time trying to get it in if you don't trim them down. Take about half of it off with a sharp pair of scissors and it'll go on much easier. Took about a minute to cut and a minute to install, couldn't be easier!

This might take 1-2 hour of your life
Ear pads are okay in terms of cushioning. Nothing extra-ordinary in terms of comfort or thickness. Please beware that it will not fit easily. The flange is too broad and thin unlike OEM earpads. So what that means is that when you insert one side, then the other side will easily pop out and you will have to start over again. If you decide to buy this one, then please give yourself 1-2 hours of trying, inverting the pads, re-trying to make it fit. Best of luck.

Better than the original
I was quite impressed with the quality of these earpads. In fact they are better than the original as they are stitched rather than glued at the seams. Unlike some of the other versions I used in the past that attach to the plastic with double-sided sticky tape, these are folded over the rims just like the originals. I have not noticed any decline in sound quality either so the foam used inside is good. Definitely worth getting.

Good quality
Not an exact replica of originals, but they seem to be just as good quality overall. Happy with purchase - especially given the high cost of the official replacements. While I'm happy these are not the cheap glue-on version that some of the alternative products are, they did require a bit of patience to put on (i.e. 3-5 minutes per ear pad). I suspect I would have had the same headache with the official replacements.

Awesome for the price
I'll keep it short and sweet. These ear pads are fantastic and I've no doubt they will last a long time. I like the fact that these have a stitched seam and not glued like the originals which is why they needed replacement as the seam had come apart, they also attach the same way as the originals, other cheaper alternatives seem to just have an adhesive. They do seem to be a little less padded than the originals but this doesn't effect comfort or performance.

More comfortable than the original but a bit tricky to put on
Pads are as described. Even more comfortable than the original. However, like other reviewers, I found them a bit tricky to put on my ATH-ANC9s. Took around 20 min. You need to stretch them a bit and slowly put the edges in around each ear.

Fits perfectly - Audio Technica ANC9
I had to replace my original cushions because the seams broke on both ears.Fast delivery, without problem. It took a few minutes to install them but they fit nicely. I actually find them more comfortable than my original ones. A lot cheaper than buying new headphones! :)
