This is a very nice dress and I would have given it five stars but should mention a few things. I ordered the white. Depending on the lighting, there is a faint lavender cast to the fabric, especially the section that ties up in the back. The bodice is nicely done with just the right amount of thickness to be supportive but not stiff looking; no bra needed. The base inside lining of the dress is a double layer of thick, but not too heavy fabric (might be a cotton blend?), so you don't have to worry about seeing through it and I think a slip is optional. The top layer is a nice airy chiffon material. Both materials were easily ironed and the dress doesn't wrinkle much to begin with.I would recommend you be prepared to have alterations done. The bodice fit me perfectly. However, the straps, shoulder drapes, and skirt were all too long (even though I provided my measurements and ordered a custom fit). Kudos to the seller for crediting me back the alteration fee when I brought this to their attention. Still, alterations are expensive and take time, so build in lots of time to both get your dress in the mail and to get the hem/straps tailored to fit (just in case). The lace up back is pretty but very challenging to do on your own--and even more difficult to undo.Overall, this a very beautiful dress, made well, and priced reasonably.

This dress is just what I wanted and couldn't find anywhere else in my budget. Since I am pear shaped, I ordered it according to my hip size and not my bust size. Dress is a little bit large, and I will need to have it taken in, but I expected that. I love this dress!
