First off, for everyone saying “I can still unzip the zipper - this product doesn’t work - the only thing they won’t be able to steal is the pouch itself..”: You’re all wrong. The zipper pull has a hole that snaps into the locking mechanism, which makes it impossible to unzip the pouch with it locked. This pouch is 100% secure. Someone would literally have to cut it apart to gain access, and no one is going to be bothering with all that at a crowded resort pool, beach or wherever you’re using this. Having said that - this item is perfect for around the pool! It’s a great solution for keeping phones, wallets, cash, room keys, etc secure while you’re buzzing back and forth between your lounger and the pool or ocean. Attaches to any chair bar/rung or railing or bike frame - anything that is secure on both ends so it can’t be slipped off. I definitely recommend!! Super cool and functional product. Very well-made.

Find a product that seems to help solve the security problem of small items that you need to carry with you but not necessarily be in your direct control at all times. It’s small enough to not be intrusive that big enough to carry wallets credit cards keys, etc..

The vault I received had a faulty zipper. I contacted the company directly and they sent me out a new one without problem. I used it on a recent trip to Mexico. It is made of very durable fabric. It gave me peace of mind to be able to move out of direct line of sight of my belongings and easily fit 2 sets of cell phones, earbuds and ipod devices along with cash/credit cards. The product is a good deterrent as it would be pretty obvious if someone was trying to get in to the bag. I do wish the width of the opening was a wee bit wider though - the item fits good on standard beach chair but not on wooden edges of a bali bed. Small problem though :) I would definitely recommend this product.

This gave me such peace of mind in the Dominican Republic. I was able to store my wallet, sunglasses and mine and my wife's phone with no issue and extra space on top. It was very easy to set the combination and it clipped perfectly on the pool chairs. We didn't really put it in a position to get wet but the feel of the material makes me believe that it will be just fine if its splashed or exposed to some rain and remain pretty waterproof. It can also function as a really secure purse with it's handle

This is a good product. We used on our trip when sitting on the beach in Bahamas . You can attach it to the table leg or the umbrella pole. It has a code lock. Very tough material. Would be difficult to cut and steal it. It was reassuring to use this when we both went in the water & had to leave our shade area unattended. Kept our money and room card in it.

My husband was skeptical about this being theft resistant. To prove a point before I used it, I locked it into place and he simply gave it a single form and swift yank and the lock broke easily away from the fabric. Took less than a second.

So in my humble opinion, when you're locking stuff up in a public place (like a beach), what you really want is something that's basically very secure, but also something that's an obvious deterrent…in effect, you don't want to be the "easy target"…you wanna be the target that a thief looks at and says, "Not worth it." So when I was looking for a secure lockup for a recent trip, I didn't expect it to be Fort Knox…but rather something that any thief would give up trying to futz with after a couple of minutes of frustration. I would say that the FlexSafe is most definitely that lockup. It's made from a fabric that would require an industrial tool to cut into…and it comes with a reasonably secure lock (sure, after 1,000 tries, a thief is going to guess the combo…but after try 15 or try 20, somebody's gonna notice "that guy over there"). So for keeping beach money and an iPhone safe, I think the FlexSafe is really pretty great…it will definitely set your mind at ease. There's only one thing I found not-so-obvious about it…and perhaps it was just me, but I think I should point it out. If you don't realize this teensy detail, the FlexSafe will seem completely useless. So there is a little nub on the lock…the zipper tab snaps onto it. So, to lock the FlexSafe, you pull the zipper closed…then, holding the zipper tab, pop it onto the little nub on the lock…it might require a bit of wiggling, but it will fit on the nub. The zipper tab then "snaps" into place and, once the FlexSafe is locked, the zipper becomes impossible to pull open. It might seem obvious to most…but it took me about ten minutes to figure this out. Duh! :)

I like these travel safes. I bought this one for a cruise and it worked great around the pool and on the beach to lock to chairs and umbrellas. My samsung 24+ fits in it nicely along with keys. Fits in luggage easily and is fairly light.

Used during entire vacation to secure money and ID’s as well as as passports

A bit pricey but well worth it. If only it were fireproof as well!!! Nevertheless, intend o get one or two more of these!
