Negative Reviews Unfair
With the obvious diversity in “how,” a career can happen, develop, be cultivated, or grow I think it’s remarkably unfair that other people didn’t get anything out of this book. The TLDNR of it is simply that hard work and showing up are the most likely means of achieving success in this industry. Having a few personal friends in the industry I’ve had conversations that echo and reinforce what this author says. His message remains congruent with what my my friends have said.I think too many people feel that there should be a tidy path to whatever it is they want. I’m equally guilty of this indulgence because there are myriad resources spent TELLING us there is an easy way if you spend this money, or attend this show, or buy this book (notice I didn’t say “read this book,”) you’re assured (if not guaranteed) success. The author’s writing style is easy and comfortable and though repetitive there was no part of the book where I felt like it was droning. Thanks for the insight and advice Mr. Schneider.

Maybe slightly outdated?
This is a great introduction to TV/Radio internet broadcasting. As far as internet radio goes, it does leave out some of the more cutting edge players in the game like RADIONOMY. Check them out...you may not need a textbook to get online in a jiffy.
