I have gone through a lot of coats in my time but this truly is the first coat that I have found that is stylish and warm. I bought a green one first and realized I had to help my dad deliver newspapers and didn’t want to ruin my coat with ink so I bought the same coat in black. I am so glad I did. This coat will keep you warm no matter the weather. It is waterproof and runs true to size. The inside sleeves are a little longer with a hole for your thumb what a fantastic idea no more worry about getting cloves to stay where they should no more snow on wrist or getting inside the sleeve Thank you for a wonderful product at a good price

Overall, I really liked this product. It seemed like it would have been a great winter coat, but I ended up returning it because it was a little bit snug across my chest. I'm not a large chested woman, and I was quite surprised, because otherwise it fit very well. I ended up having to size up, which I don't really love because it seems like the jacket is overly big, except in the chest. However, because it seems like such a great quality, and I do love the vibrant color, I am keeping it. I work at the daycare, and even in the winter we spend a lot of time outdoors, and I live in the northern part of Michigan so it gets fairly cold and proper gear is necessary. Update: even though the jacket is a bit bulky, I love it, it is so warm. It keep the wind off, and keeps me dry in the rain and wet snow. It’s the best winter jacket!

I bought this for our mountain vacation so I’ve not worn it yet but I tried it on and it fits really good. It is a little heavy but not that bad. I have broad shoulders and I’m big chested(42dd), I’m 5’7 n 225lbs. I bought the 3x after reading reviews and I’m glad I did. I have enough room to layer and still be able to reach and move without the coat binding in my shoulders,arms or chest. I really don’t think I’ll have to wear layers cause this coat is thick and feels well insulated but I do have the room if I need to, I do like my clothes a little big and not tight or well fitted. Anyway I’m very pleased so far with this coat and the price for such quality!

Update 3/5/23 - about a month into wearing the coat it started developing these lumps within the fabric all along the seams... I'm certain it's a buildup of whatever material is inside.. I haven't washed it so I don't why that started happening.... It feels awkward when driving because my arm sits on the arm rest while driving and you can feel lumps all in the way.. I really want to give it 3 stars because it really is a lot of lumps but I'll just leave it... It really keeps me warm and I went thru so much finding a coat to fit my long arms... I would only buy it again if Columbia doesn't have my size in the coat I want (that's what brought me here to begin with lol) ... You can feel it with your hands as well but it isn't noticeable to the eye because my coat is big (at least I don't think so)... Also if you got a larger size like me you should wear a scarf on windy cold days because your body will be nice and warm until that air creep in in the space by your neck lol... Cold!! So I don't plan on buying it again next year.. I'll do a better job with getting my regular winter coat earlier so that my size isn't gone... Hopefully this coat will last another winter just in case.. I don't see why it wouldn't.. OK, so when I tell you guys that I went through 7 different versions of THIS particular coat it is truly unbelievable! You really have to pay attention to detail because you think all the coats and colors are the same style but I found out that they are not... First of all I had to buy two different sizes because I'm tall with very long arms and my problem with most coats are that the arms are always short.. So I gotthe XL and 2XL in each style/ color that I was buying.. oh, I'm 5'11 198 pounds 42DD (that's important to know for comfort) and my arm inseam is 28 inches. Told you I'm tall with long arms lol The body of the XL was perfect but the arms were a little short and because of my big breasts if I wrapped my arms around (like a fake bear hug) it would feel snug around the shoulders and arm pits.. The 2XL was much better.. The thumb really makes a difference, which is what I wanted, because it gives you an easy extra 2 inches of fabric.. Now I will say that when my thumb is actually inside the hole that space feels tight... The body is loose, but I expected that because I don't usually wear a 2XL.. My normal size is XL or size 14 Luckily by the time I got this one I had unfortunately went through 6 other different styles by the same company so I knewwhat I wanted lol... I specifically wanted and needed the thumb hole as well as the drawstring waste because, as I mentioned, I knew the body was going to be too big for me... The gray colors and maroon color DOES NOT have that drawstring.. So be careful when ordering.. I found out the hard way and I hadthe worst time with Amazon messing up my return process with these coats... I'm in NY and it's coollldddd here... Without any sweater on underneath just long sleeves I haven't been cold yet... The pockets are deep but they are not lined.. the hood is lined though..... I haven't taken pictures yet cause so had time for that in the cold lol... But I'll get around to it when my husband is off... This is my first time in like 10 years having a winter coat that is waist level... My last coat was from Columbia it was to my knees and perfect with thumb holes and it lasted well over 6 years... But they don't sell that one anymore and the ones they have don't have the thumb hole.. I need that extra fabric for length in my sleeves (cause I have long arms guys, I'm not kidding) Lol, it fits my body so you can't tell.. But trust my shopping for coats and long sleeves has always been a pain.. Thankfully i love summer and warm weather so when the winter time comes I don't mind looking Manish yet comfortable because all my coats are big lol. I will update with pictures at a later time... But yeah, make sure if you want drawstring and thumb holes to get this color (Navy).. A lot of the other colors only have one or the other... Oh and it has a snow skirt skirt inside... 4 stars because it's not tested in the snow yet and there were a few hanging strings that I hadto cut off.. Very warm so far and the rain seems to bounce right off.. I didn't stand in it long but that was good

I have noticed that if I have my hair up, I have a lot of hair mind you, the hood sits up real high and if it's windy so that I button it at my chin it actually covers my mouth instead of just the neck. However everything else about this coat is amazing. It has the elastic band at the bottom to help keep wind out, the fuzzy lining in the hood and back are great and help with the cold. I live in Wisconsin so we definitely get super cold and sometimes lots of snow. With the extremely bipolar weather we've had this year, this jacket has been a lifesaver. And I absolutely love all of the pockets! It even has the hand warmer style pockets! I really love the thumb holes in the sleeve as well. I was very reluctant to order a coat online when my 14-year-old Cabela's jacket finally met the end of its life, but I'm so glad I chose this coat. Fantastic option.

I live in northern Minnesota and it gets cold! I regularly walk outside and my first walk with this jacket it was 13 degrees with a wind chill. I wore only one fleece layer underneath and this jacket kept me toasty warm. The neck area has Velcro that when shut keeps my neck warm without an additional scarf. I haven’t used the hood yet but it has drawstrings to close the hood to keep out the cold. It also has adjustable cuffs and the inside cuff area has material that layers over the wrist with thumb holes. The length is good both in body and sleeves I’m 5’5” and 185 pounds. The 2XL fits perfectly. I’m very pleased with this jacket.

I searched for days for a ski jacket that is warm enough, comfortable and I can actually drive my car in. My winter coat is to puffy and cannot drive in it... So after days of searching, I was convinced by the reviews and ordered this jacket. It is very light, really comfortable. I sized up to have enough room for more layers (my normal size is small, I ordered medium). First windy day I felt the air blowing up at my hip but at the moment I wished I could tie it up, I realized, I actually can! Such a great feature! So after a tiny adjustment it proved to be super warm and completely wind proof. Next day: sleet - didn't even get wet. The hoodie is fantastic, it has a little weight so it can't be blown down too easily. I also ordered it with a discount so great value for money. Many thanks for the great reviews, it helped me make a good choice. Oh, and yes, I can actually drive my car in this jacket :)
