Intone Ms200 Stereo Low Bass Folding and Adjustable Headphone Earbuds - White / Purple

We just got these for our family and my daughter loves them. I am a pros and cons type of person as it keeps a review simple and can hopefully help you in making a decision as to if these are for you or not.Pros-Foldable for storing and travel.-Have a cushioned headband.-Have a braided cord which helps prefer tangles.-Soft and elastic memory ear-pad. (Helps keep outside noise out and does not hurt the ear if you use them for longer periods of time.)-Fits 3.5mm jack and is compatible with most to all phones, computers, audio players and tablets.Note – The plug is a straight plug and not a 90 degree plug. It also does not detach from the headset.-Come in multiple color schemes.-So far seem like they work well and will last.-In terms of sound, you can certainly hear all the mids-highs easily. They do not compare to studio grade headphones, however, at this price range, that should not be an expectation.Cons-Description says strong low bass speaker, however, I do not get a ton of bass with them.-The padded rubber headband is more of a thin rubber material vs. a real cushion filled with something soft. I am bald and it was still comfortable wearing it. (Did not hurt the head at all.)Notes-They do not have an inline microphone.-Folded dimensions are approx. 7 ½” wide, approx. 5” tall and 3 ½” wide.-They fit my 8 year old daughter great and are adjustable for almost all older ages.-These are not sound cancelling, but do slightly muffle the outside / background noises.-Cord is approx. 3 ½’.-They do not come with a case.Based on the price range, features and sound I would recommend to friends-family. Okay here is the scoop: They are well made and have great sound quality IF you get them positioned correctly. I mention this now because they are designed to sit on the ear and if you try to wear them over the top of your head, and you have larger ears, the sound quality will seem low or off because the cans will sit too high on your ears.. My hubby has big ears and he couldn't get the full spectrum of sounds. Luckily they are mine and I have to wear them just above my occipital bone (the largest part of your skull), forcing them to sit on my little ears in a more forward position. Once I adjusted them the sound and super bass were very clear and the tones are crisp. You can hear everything. They are lightweight and liked some other reviews state, they are easy to forget they are on. It comes with a covered or cloth cord that has an appropriate length. Besides the negative straight up and down positioning of the cans, I give them 4 stars because they are NOT adjustable. I found that out when I tried to extend the cans to fit my female head and realized it wasn't going to happen. This company has to realize that everyone head is not shaped the same. Other than those two negatives, they are great. They will not be my permanent headphones, but they are great for my current needs. Brian's wife Drea

Great sound, love the design except for the awkwardly labelled "Headphones MS200" that is not removable and is in the middle of the headphone's head band. Pretty lightweight and the headphones fold up for easy storage too. The wire is covered by a layer of protective nylon-like material, which is a must for me since my cat has a fetish for regular plastic wires and will easily chew a plastic wire in two, but not a nylon wire. These headphones also block out a good amount of outside noise, but isn't exactly noise cancelling, just dims down the environmental noise enough to make listening to music possible in a noisy house. The bass is also pretty darn good for a $17 headphone. Material and the headphones themselves look like they'll last for a long time.Except it doesn't. I got these headphones this Wednesday and here it is, Sunday, and the headphones are already beginning to not work. The right side of the headphones doesn't work if the wire isn't plugged in a certain way, a tale tell sign of loose wiring in the jack due to either improper manufacturing or just simply cheap material. These headphones have not been improperly taken care of, they've literally sat on my shelf ever since I got them and may be used once or twice a day, if at all. I'm going to return these defective headphones, get my refund, and reorder a new pair of headphones. If those are better, I will update this review to say so, but I'm very disappointed in these headphones so far.EDIT: Bought a replacement pair. I used them for literally the very first time today and the right side is already going out, requiring me to move the jack around to get both sides to work. Clearly these headphones are made to look high quality, but in reality are made out of extremely cheap materials. I would not recommend these headphones to anybody who wishes to have a pair of headphones that actually work.
