I had never used a sleep mask until an overnight flight to London several years ago. The airplane ones were basic but I really caught the idea of how cool they were. Since then I've tried many but they were mainly upgraded versions of the airline ones. Then I found this, TA DA!It is extremely soft and well made. Because it actually wraps around your head, you don't have to worry about the elastic stretching out - EVER. It blocks the light like no other, absolutely, positively! It doesn't have the contoured eyeball sections but it is very light and comfortable, plus it goes over your ears too for a little extra help. And...it is washable, but air dry.I am so happy with this eye mask that I am ordering another one today.

Super soft, and the best part is that it's comfortable in any position. Most that I've tried have Velcro or a strap that's irritating in some positions.

I switched to working nights about a year ago, and since that change I’d been sleeping with a t-shirt wrapped around my head. That really worked fairly well, except that it would bunch up when I rolled over sometimes, and that was uncomfortable. Finally realizing my work schedule isn’t likely to switch back to days anytime soon, I bit the bullet and started shopping for sleep masks.This one is much more stable than the ones with the little elastic bands, and unless I fasten it very tightly, it doesn’t squeeze my eyes. It doesn’t fall completely off or anything when I toss and turn, though sometimes I wake up in the middle of my “night” to find it’s slipped up a bit and there’s some light coming in from underneath, all across the bottom. That happens less often than it did with my trusty t-shirt, though, and less than with the other masks I’ve tried.The foam bits down by the nostrils do seem to help keep light from leaking in at the nose, but they’re not perfect, at least for me. None of the other masks I’ve tried are perfect either, though, in this regard. I think it’s just inevitable, the way I toss and turn.I woke up today a couple of hours after going to bed, right when the sun was beating into the bedroom window at its most direct, and I was surprised to discover that this mask actually isn’t completely opaque. Even when I squeezed it completely closed over my nose so there was no light leaking in there, when my eyes were open, there was a liiiiiitle bit of light making it through. I experimented by blocking the offending sunbeam with my hand, and yes, light was making it through the mask. Certainly not much light. Closing my eyes was enough to make it unnoticeable. Not a deal breaker, but I found it surprising.All in all, this is the best mask I’ve found. The knit fabric on the inside lining is amazingly soft. Shockingly soft. When I first took this out of the package I just sat there and petted it for several minutes in disbelief. I compulsively wash new clothes before I wear them, and I didn’t feel compelled to wash this before use. There was no unpleasant odor, even just of sizing like almost all new fabric has. The Velcro is high quality and I haven’t heard it make Velcro noises at all when I toss and turn. The mask is designed such that my (long) hair doesn’t come into contact with the Velcro.Other than adding more or different material to the stuffing so it’s absolutely opaque, I don’t know what could be done to improve it.

I been using a CPAP for years and have gone through countless mask trying to find a mask with my CPAP mask. light always got in or the pressure on my eyes was uncomfortable. This wrap is a god send no pressure on the eyes and in daylight total darkness so I can get some sleep and doesn't interfere with my mask at all. it is well worthy the money I spent on it.

A little confusing to put on. It seems weird that you have to fold one end in order to Velcro it close. It's comfy but keep it kind it can give you potentially bad bedhead because it's large(yes, I know, on purpose). I also find that it can get hot and isn't quite as cooling as described. Mostly breathable but on a warm night it can feel suffocating. I also have a small head and light can still peek through if I don't secure it well.Update 2.08.2019Returning this item. Upon closer inspection of the product photo, mine is made incorrectly. Overall if i had a properly made product it would be a 4 out of 5 stars.

I like it but I can see how it would be too hot in the summer and just anytime for some people. It also covers my ears--which for some would be a plus but I don't like as well since I like to listen to podcast before I go to sleep.The biggest pro is that there's no way any light peaks in anywhere with this mother; the cons are truly a matter of personal taste...I can see how a person could feel almost claustrophobic wearing this, and muffling outside sound could be a plus or a negative. I'd also add that at least for me, they are surprisingly comfortable.OH--one more plus--maybe primarily for the ladies or anyone who doesn't like the lines the traditional elastic band can leave on one's aging face that take like 3 hours to disappear after getting up--this mask leaves no lines. And for me it leaves me hair looking less funky on awaking. (The more I write about it--the more I like it!)

Really soft and comfortable even when laying on your side. And it's large enough that it really covers down around your nose where light can leak in. Made well. I washed it in the washing machine with no problem

I've purchased many of these from this company over the past 3 years, and each time it's a slightly different material.All have been excellent, but this last model seemed to be thicker and less stretching out-of-shape.All models have been easy to wash. Overall this model is probably the most durable.
