AXIS P3807-PVE Network Camera is a fixed dome camera with multiple sensors, providing an easy, reliable and cost-efficient one-camera installation - reducing installation time, cabling and VMS license costs. Thanks to its excellent image sensors, along with Forensic WDR and Lightfinder technology, it provides great video quality in any light conditions. Its four sensors give a seamless 180 deg; panoramic overview, at up to 30 fps in 8.3 MP resolution. The camera is easy to install as recessed, flush, pendant, back-to-back, and comes with adjustable pre-set camera positions. Seamlessly stitched images 180 deg; horizontal and 90 deg; vertical coverage 8.3 MP resolution at full frame rate Axis Lightfinder and Forensic WDR Axis Zipstream for reduced bandwidth and storage needs Review: Fantastic camera, though pay attention to the dimensions - My initial impression was that the camera was huge! I have several other Axis bullet and dome cameras, all of which have a mounting footprint of about 5", the P3807 however has a mounting footprint of about 7". However after mounting the camera I enjoyed a wonderful 180 degree by 90 degree image. It is worth noting that for items close to the camera, you are much more likely to see breaks in the image where the image transitions from one of the cameras to the adjacent one, however in my case this is only noticed for an item about 1-2 feet from the camera. The resultant stream is also one fluid image with motion of objects across all internal camera fields of view. When I received the item I did notice some flickering when creating overlay text, much like I had seen on other Axis cameras, but this was often fixed by updating to the latest firmware. However in this case I needed to open a ticket with Axis support. They were able to provide me with a patch for the issue within a few days and everything has been working solid since. They told me that these fixes will be in all firmware updates for the camera going forward. Overall I am very pleased with the camera, and considering my interaction with their support organization I believe all Axis cameras are an excellent value.
