Back-Ups!!! The mystery explained
Leo has taken an essential computer maintenance issue, backing-up, which is usually overlooked due to the hard to understand explanations found ( or not ) in the system documentation and removed the mystery. Even if you are a pro user you will benefit from his easy to understand descriptions and evaluations of the options available. I have already taken steps to revamp my back-up plan and am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my copy of saved SAVED Backing up with Macrium Reflect so I can get fully up to speed.I recommend this book for anyone using a computer. I plan to refer to it frequently while am upgrading my home network to ensue I am using the best back-up plan at any stage of the process.

Backing Up 101 - Size Different Ways to Backup Your Computer
I've been enjoying reading Leo Notenbloom's articles on line for years. However everytime I think I have handle on backing up or just understanding a computer, I like many people have to turn back to Leo, and say huh? I think at times I just consign myself to acknowledging that when the computer dies (and they do) even if all you have is just an extra harddive at least you haved saved a portion of your life. But a full back up is better.

I don't need no computer repairman!
I listen to a weekly computer radio show, hosted by a local computer shop, that never mentions the importance of backing up your data because they make lots of money when computer users come into their store crying, after a hard drive failure or virus infection. I read this book and then Leo's book "Saved". Now I am routinely backing up my computers and devices. The computer shop will just have to get along with out me!

Little value here
Full disclosure: I do not know the author, I have no financial interest in this book, I did buy it from Amazon. Unfortunately I spent $9.80 on this. While the author is a tech expert, this book does not due justice to the topic, even for novices. Chapter 1 says that you should backup. Chapter 2 says you shouldn't rely on manual backups. Chapter 3 says you should use automatic backups. Chapter 4 talks about online backups. Chapter 5 says you should sometimes use manual image backups. Chapter 6 says it makes sense to have automatic image backups. That's it. No mention of recovery, without which backup is useless. I also note that the author gives away free copies of this book, if you subscribe to his free newsletter.

I would have like more detail about backing up files within folders
Contains some basic information. I would have like more detail about backing up files within folders, etc. This brief summary was clear, but fairly elementary.

This booklet doesn't tell you much
This booklet is okay. But it's short and for the price doesn't tell you much. I was expecting more. Of course the author highly recommends backing up in some form. He recommends DropBox or some other form of cloud storage as a solution, something which you probably already know. This book is not a how-to on backing up it is simply an appeal to make sure you do regular back ups. Not worth the money in my opinion.
