Silver Shield Deodorant - Original Formula - Spray-On Version, All Natural Colloidal Silver Deodorant, 2 oz.

This deodorant is absolutely amazing. It doesn't have a strong smell to it, and lasts all day. I Live in Maryland and am using this during the hot humid days in which I am very active outdoors. So far so good; I cant even smell the stench of my pits, this stuff works so well. I sweat all day and not a foul odor from my underarms, I cant even smell it on my shirt; there are also no stains on the pits of my shirts which is GREAT. The colloidal silver formula they use helps kill the bacteria that makes your pits stink. If you have ever had CS (colloidal Silver) solution in any other form, you know the wonders and miracles its able to perform on your health and immune system, so I guess it makes sense that it works the way it does for deodorant. The scent isn't very strong which is nice (nice calming smell, mild at best). I have tried so many other organic brands, including jungleman, and they just haven't cut it. They lasts only a few hours, or a decent amount of time if I am active and then I begin to smell my pits. The also leave a very sticky residue on my underarms which is irritating. I'm not saying this will work for anyone, as for anything in life, not everything is for everybody, but man this stuff works wonders for me. Would definitely recommend.

If you want an aluminum free bo preventer this is it. Used dove for men with silver for years but suddenly started having a BO at the end of the day. After some research I discovered dove reformulated without silver. Purchased this and use it after every shower then the dove deodorant on top. Works great! No more afternoon pit checks needed. Spray bottle works good. Doesn’t burn when applying it. The smell isn’t bad but not my personal favorite.

This was actually working for me. Granted, it only worked for about 12 hours for each application, but that was more than a lot of the natural deodorants I've tried. However, after a few weeks of use, my underarms became gray! I did some reading on the active ingredients and it says this can happen because of the silver content. For some, this may not be a problem, but it was a deal breaker for me.

Stops odor better than my former favorite deodorant from the drug store. And my wife likes the scent better. On the other hand, I believe it made me itchy after continued use — but no rash, unlike with some stick deodorants. It’s great for traveling or other, maybe occasional, use.

I really wanted it to work, but I have an intense reaction to fragrances, even essential oils. Never put it together until I tried this product. I'm having great success with MoM and Baking soda, so fragrances (no matter where from) cannot be a part of my deodorant.

I had been looking for an aluminum free deodorant for a while but nothing seemed to work well until I found this product. No odor after a 12 hour shift at work. It only claims to be a deodorant, but it also seems to work as an anti-perspirant for me too. The spray is a great way to deliver the product to the skin surface (especially if you have armpit hair!) compared to most other options which are a roll-on or stick. It does not contain alcohol so it does not dry very fast, but I just use a hair dryer under each arm for about 10 seconds and it solves that problem.

The essential oils smell good, but I don’t think think it is right for sensitive skin! Or any skin... I noticed other people complaining about getting rashes, but I don’t have allergies to any of the ingredients so I thought I would be fine. I made sure to follow what the manufacturer suggested, and not apply right after shaving, but even 2-3 days after shaving under my arms it still stung when applying! I didn’t develop a rash, but it was still too uncomfortable to continue to use. I also wasn’t impressed with its deodorizing abilities. The strong scent seems more suited to covering odor than to preventing it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have tried nearly every over the counter product from both drug stores and health food stores (including some expensive stuff) but nothing really helped. The best anyone ever worked was for 2-4 hours depending on the amount of perspiration and stress secretions that day. I even tried several home remedies (rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, hydrogen peroxide...etc) and all of them came up short on most days as well! In sheer frustration, I bought this spray expecting it to fail just like all others. But this spray turned to be the One! I was very skeptical of the whole nanosilver thing in the beginning but I've to say that it really works for me and it stays affective over a day to boot! Reading up more about nanosilver it makes sense why bacteria--the principal odor causing agents--can't survive around these tiny silver particles but I just hope this type of product is safe in the long term (I've already used it for 2 months now with consistent results) and that the bacteria doesn't outsmart the silver one day :) For those of you on the fence about shelling out $10 on this you may want to order a sample from the manufacturer's website (for $1) first and see if it works for you.
