My white hair is thinning. I especially did not like the look when the wind would blow and separate my hair! I entertained getting a wiglet but thought that would be a pain to put on. I then read the reviews on Febron and decided to give it a try. I find it really isn't difficult to apply. I brush my hair in one direction and while looking in a hand mirror (into the bathroom mirror) sprinkle Febron on the bare spots. I use that same method until the thinning places are covered. Follow Febron instructions. It shampoos out well and I have never had it flake off on my clothes! The CON's are as follows: It did rub off on the back of my recliner. I just put a towel on the headrest. The other CON is that it really is pricey! However, I am on my 2nd bottle and do not plan to ever be without it! This has given me more confidence in any kind of weather! UPDATE REVIEW: I AM ON MY 4TH BOTTLE AND STILL MORE PLEASED THEN EVER. AFTER GETTING THE HANG OF USING IT I AM ABLE TO USE A LITTLE LESS IN A SHORTER AMOUNT OF TIME! SO EASY ALSO TO TRAVEL WITH!

I am very happy to report that this new product is well worth both your time and a trial! I have suffered from an ongoing and ever increasing problem with thinning and sparse hair. I have noticed hairs falling out at an occasionally alarming rate along with a gradual winnowing of hair atop my head. This product while it doesn't replace the lost hairs does the next best thing. It makes the evidence of my loss almost completely invisible to both myself and others to define. The directions are easy, the results are heartening, and the added benefit is that the Fibers also act as a styling aid which allows you the flexibility to use your hair in ways that had long since ceased to be comfortable with my thinning hair. I am quite pleased with this addition to my hair products...surgical replacements are absurdly expensive and don't always look a great deal better than when you began your quest to improve your hair volume. Am at stage in life where hair has gone a pretty silver/white (so I'm told by friends). It is now 90% curly like I've never had before except when I started getting permanents in the 9th grade, many moons ago. Don't know why so curly now but I'm sure enjoying it. I've always had fine hair and lots of it. Now is curly, fine and getting very skimpy in several places. When I first used Febron White Hair Building Fibers, I was timid about using it. Didn't use enough. Second try was much better and felt it looked very good and natural, filling in those gaps I was unhappy about. Used a fine mist hair spray as recommended and LOVED my new look!

At first I wasn't so sure I liked it, but when I read how to use and followed the directions, it worked beautifully! The trick is to apply directly onto your scalp-don't shake it on. It takes to the scalp in a non sticky way and covers my thinning part beautifully. I have had other products that leave my scalp and hair feeling sticky and clumpy- Febron does not. It's a winner for me and helps me feel less self-conscious. These hair fibers are all a bit pricey for my pocket book which accounts for the 4 star value rating.

This is the 3rd hair thinning fiber product I have used and this one is definitely the best. FEBRON won't disappoint if you follow the directions! In fact I just ordered my 2nd bottle because I don't want to run out. Simply pat closely to the scalp and then slightly rub. The hair fiber stays ... not only all day but you can confidently know it will stay where you put it until you choose to wash your hair. Amazing!
