Quality and sturdy
This feels good to hold and chop with. Has a reassuring weight to it that is easily applied when swiftly chopping herbs but also slicing through hardy stuff like carrots, root vegetable, and meat. I use this daily, several times a day and it is now my go-to knife. When recieved the blade was very sharp but I do recommend using a whetstone to regularly maintain the blade. The handle is sturdy and has a decent grip edge to it.

Best in market at price point
I have an array of knifes from shun to wustoff to Kuhn rink on .. for the cheaper end of 30 this knife is fantastic one of the best weighted fir me personally has enougth weight in it to cut veg good (were some of the light weight /Japanese knife fall short but is also light enougth to use for hours on end comfortably and sag dice cut onion . The retention is good I use my steel on it maybe once every 4-5 hours of use it's gets sharp. My wustoff are only the other knife I manage to get sharper but fir 30 pound this is a good all round knife and I would recommend it as a first knife . Handle is probably best Iv used tbh onfiryable and fits hand well

Great gift!
Bought this for my dad for Christmas! He is the hardest person to buy for but uses this all the time! Sharp, doesn't stain, and he's still using it plenty now in October without having sharpened it so must be pretty durable too! All in all, very pleased with this buy!

Excellent - sharp and well weighted
Extremely sharp, and having used (excessively) for just shy of 1 year now, it is still the sharpest knife in the draw. (Of course sharpening every so often). Very happy with it - great for chopping veg, cutting meats and fish.

Beautifully balanced, and sharp a razor!
An absolute pleasure to use. I have some really expensive knives - and this outclasses most of them!

Worth the money
This is the first proper knife I've bought and I was dubious it would make much difference to my cooking - I just had normal knife sets before. It's a game changer. It takes a little getting used to as it's so much longer than your normal knife set knives, but it makes such light work of everything. It's that good I'm considering getting another for serious cooking days!

Sharp
So, so much better than other knives we've had in the past. Super sharp seems durable after three month quite heavy use. We got a three in one sharpener/honer at the same time to maintain it.

Review after 10 years
Ok, this is wild, when i took this knife from my drawer today i though i had to look it up and potentially gave a review. I checked and I bought this knife close to 10 years ago! (Dec 2016), for $25.56, what!! And its still my favorite knife, i have few expensive knives that i was gifted but somehow i 90% of times reach for this one. It has great balance, great weight, the edge is easy to sharpen and holds reasonably well. I was dicing and slicing today after quick honing and the knife cut like through butter. Its buy for life kind of item, i just hope current one is the same as the one i bought 10 years ago.

Good quality at inexpensive price
I'm a home user, but this is a good quality knife and excellent value. It has a balanced weight and was very sharp right out of the package. This probably won't be suitable for pro chefs, or people who are used to using more expensive blades, but for your average home cook, this is great and beats my Henckels chef knife that came with a set.
