Rubbish!!!
Very poor I bought this product for my five year old expecting to leave her to play alone safely. You are inundated with adds from betting/gambling through to buying add ons for games. Do not buy not worth the money!!!! Much better products elsewhere.

Not as secure as it's made out to be
I bought this tablet because I wanted a secure device that I could lock down until my 4 year old is old enough to spend time on the internet unsupervised. Unfortunately though, it doesn't live up to this expectation. The most fundamental problem is that there is no way for a parent to completely prevent a child from turning on the device's Wifi connection and thereby connecting to the internet. There is an option to turn off "web access" - but that doesn't actually do what you think it would!First of all, there are 2 web browsers that come pre-installed on the device - Kurio's own web browser, and Google's Chrome browser - and by default the child has access to both of them. The web blocking and filtering only works on Kurio's own browser, so you have to also block the child's access to Chrome, or else they will be able to do anything they like on the internet. This wasn't mentioned in any of the documentation.Secondly, there are lots of other ways a child can connect to the internet without using a web browser (and turning off "web access" in the parental settings) has no affect on any of them! As a minimum you probably want to block YouTube (as this isn't a child-safe application) and Google Play (if you don't want your child installing random apps - potentially at your expense!)Finally though, even after doing all of the above, I was still able to circumvent these controls when logged in as my child. The trick was to find a game that had YouTube embedded within it. My daughter was playing a game called "Cut the Rope", which allows you to watch related videos from YouTube. But if you pause a video, then select another one, the display changes to a different view of YouTube that includes a search bar at the top. By typing the word "porn" into the search bar, I was able to access all kinds of videos that I definitely would not want my 4 year old to stumble across! This comes back down to the fundamental problem, which is that there is no way for a parent to prevent the child from using the WiFi connection, and there are many, many different ways the internet can be accessed on an internet-enabled device!(Also, lots of people moan about the battery life, and it's true - it is fairly lousy. But for an £80 tablet, which I don't really want my daughter to be on for hours at a time anyway, I didn't find this to be such a big problem)

Great Kids tablet and awesome Kiddisafe software
Although I already had a Kurio Smart watch for my little one I did a lot of research for a tabletThe Child safety software Genius tipped it in the favour of the Connect together with the remote access facility.I have not been disappointed we have peace of mind and he lives the amount of suitable apps he can get access to.The software is easy to use
