Faithfull Tile Cutter 300mm – 300mm Square, 210mm Diagonal & 10mm Thick

I had a small job making a kitchen backsplash and needed to cut a dozen of 8 mm hexagon ceramic tiles. I was worried a bit about a diagonal cut, but had no problem with it at all. I pushed it against the wall so i could apply even pressure without struggling to hold the tool in place. Zero waste, no cracked or broken tiles. The cut is very straight, a break can be a bit uneven, but nothing sanding stone couldn't fix.

Good value and performance for the price. I read the reviews that said it broke after first use and assumed that was user error. Used appropriate force and carful use and cut about 100 tiles in a bathroom project. Only minor issue is that the snapper foot came down a couple of times while scoring and marked the tile. I tightened back up a bit and was no longer a problem. Well worth. £15.

No cutting remarks, please, I am a novice at tile-laying. After checking various online reviews for such machines as this at various prices with different whistles and bells, I opted for this one which is great value. And it has done exactly what I wanted and needed it to do. I wanted straight clean cuts in traditional 4mm and 5mm thick ceramic tiles to line a window aperture. Using this on a sturdy level surface (the ground!), I was able to make up and cut tiles exactly as I needed them. It has gone back into the box until next time I (or my son who thinks he will give it a try, now, too) need it. Definitely feels sturdy in use, and easy to gauge where to put the uncut tiles for scoring and cutting. If you're looking for a good starter tile cutter, choose this faithful one. I recommend it.

Always trying to find positives and provide a balanced review yet this item lacks any redeeming features. The blade hardly leaves a mark when run across a 5mm tile, by barely I mean a manual scorer and a metal ruler leaves a far clearer line than this thing. Don’t even dream of snapping a tile along the crease, it will get you no where. There is no centre line to work with, the product is flimsy and weak. It’s not a case of ‘you get what you pay for’ I reverted to: a cheap manual scorer, a metal ruler, a diamond disc for my grinder, and it all worked a treat

Don’t think it will last cut one tile did what I needed very cheap product, if your project is big or average size avoid and go for something more expensive and durable

Managed to do this section with the tile cutter and it did a good job. Once I got to trickier parts such as plug points, we realised it wasn’t going to work (broke a lot of tiles!) so had to go and buy an electric tile cutter. All in all for the price it worked for simple cuts.

Worth every penny! I was sceptical as I needed to cut porcelain tiles. But this did the job perfectly, cheap price for a very good product!
