Save your stuff and save the mice!!
I have a garage that I store stuff in (all my treasures)deep in the woods behind my house. It is a perfect storage unit accept for one problem! Those pesty little mice. Sadly they made several comfy nests burrowed in some of my boxes destroying some of my personal belongings including Christmas decorations and other sentimental items. It’s war time!! My first attempt to rid the mice was setting up a bunch of mouse traps (that I also ordered off Amazon) the mouse traps worked. They slaughtered 10 mice a day (wow I really had an issue with an entire subdivision of mice) although mice are destructive pests they are also quite cute. It felt so sad to kill all the furry little fellas in a war to protect my stuff. There had to be a better way to make them go bye-bye…. That’s when I decided to give this natural product a try. Keep in mind my initial killing spree was over, so I cleared out the majority of these little woodland creatures…but I don’t feel like constantly setting up traps to keep them away from my stuff, I would rather give them a repellent warning to keep them away yet spare their little lives. I give this product a two thumbs up for keeping my mouse traps clear and saving lives of innocent mice everyday. I also believe the little mice rate this product with 5 stars as they now know this is a prohibited area without getting the death sentence. It’s a win win for everyone including the mice! And it’s not toxic to dogs or small children which is a bonus!

it worked and worked great
IT WORKED!. My shed is backed up against a forest. Each spring I have to chase out a family or two of mice, sweep out the dropping and the dead bodies. This year I did nothing different but place these around each corner of the shed(inside). I was amazed! No mice, no droppings, no bodies, nothing! I'm impressed.

Either made in US or China
You will either get the American or Chinese made product. The Chinese packets don’t have as strong of an aroma and don’t seem to last as long as the American made ones. For what it’s worth, it is clearly labeled on the packaging what is the country of origin, but you cannot choose whether you get the American or Chinese product. We have outdoor rodents because neighbors in our neighborhood keep chickens and feed the local wildlife.I find that several of these packets under the hood as well as within the glove compartment and scattered throughout my cars that I leave outside do keep the rodents away as I have not seen any rodent droppings or damage since I started using them. You will obviously have to remove these from under your hood before you drive. And you will probably wind up using an entire 16 packet bag and one car with five or six under the hood three or four in the glove compartment, and maybe a handful in the cargo area.I don’t think they work as well at keeping rodents out of spaces such as garages. The smell is very strong and some people tend to be sensitive to it, but the alternative is having your cars infested with rodents.I wish you could buy the American product over the Chinese one.

Nope, they do not work.
Update: 11 24 2024: So, the "Motel Mouse" humane traps DO WORK (on Amazon). I set them up with a gob of peanut butter on 11 22 2024 as soon as they arrived and within an hour, I had one mouse in a trap and went back to look at another trap about 30 minutes later, and another mouse was in the second trap. Nothing in the laundry pantry or kitchen. I put the occupied traps outside until the morning. As soon as I opened the trap the little mice bolted to the point where they were airborne! As of today, 11 24 2024, no more mice in the traps, no more droppings; the HVAC vents are covered with those nice magnetic mesh covers (from Amazon) and the air flow is fine; so, I think I am good to go! So don't waste your $$ on the repellents and get the humane traps although the little bowls of peppermint oil and the lavender epsom salt does make your house smell nice! So, yes, I discovered I have mice in my master bathroom and at least one managed to make it into the kitchen in full view of my dogs, believe it or not. I live semi-rural, and I know they're outside so it should have been expected that they'd find their way indoors at some point. So, I began with ordering mesh magnetic covers for my HVAC vents on the floor since I thought they might be coming in through there from the crawlspace; then I subsequently began with little bowls of peppermint oil spread around; nope, tried the ultrasonic electronic pest repeller that you plug in, 6 of them, 3 in the bathroom and just outside in the master bedroom and the other 3 outside in the shed.. Nope. Tried Epsom salts with lavender since they are supposed to not like the smell of lavender (my house smells great, tho) but nope, bought these Grandpa Gus' mouse repellent pouches and set them all around including on top of the vanity and apparently the mice love them because I found a couple of droppings right on top of the pouches. I did find one baby mouse in a glass flower vase I had setting on the kitchen floor and when I walked by it, I thought there was a walnut in the bottom and came to find out it was a baby mouse all curled up. Apparently, it got in but could not get out. It was very still so I thought it was dead, but I took it outside and pushed it out and it was weak, but it did revive and scurry off after a few minutes of fresh air and grass. I thought that was it until I found a few more droppings on the Grandpa's pouch on my vanity, again. Next, my humane mouse traps arrived this evening and yes, post haste, I set them up with some peanut butter and put them around, 4 of them. We will see what that does. I am just wondering since I covered my HVAC vents with the magnetic mesh covers that they could not get back out assuming that was the way they came in, but I don't really know where the heck they're coming in at. I've lived in this house for 4 years and while I see the mice outside, I have never seen one inside the house until now.

Great product that actually works - smell lasts at least 5 months!
I am so impressed by this stuff I had to come back and write a review. I purchased this and put in my car in October to deter mice while it was parked outside under a cover for the winter. I just picked my car up 5 months later and the smell is still very strong (even after I removed all the packets I can still smell it 2 days later) and I have NO EVIDENCE of mice! Will def be buying this every winter!

Research before buying
Worked great at first but after two weeks you can't smell anything. Not sure if this was a good buy?

I wish car dealers gave this away...it works!!
I'm hoping hardware, auto parts, and big-box stores carried these packets so I don't have to order them!! I love the smell and it's ability to keep mice away from my vehicle and the dumpster on the other side of a cinderblock wall. I put five of these under my hood in various places and I've had no more rodent-induced electrical problems.
