Fantastic. Much cheaper atm to by the French version than the English one. English instructions are available online so can be printed easily.

After playing one game we quickly moved on to expansions so it was nice to have them already in this edition. The rules are in French but you can easily find an English pdf on the zmangames site or elsewhere.

Played numerous games with my 11-year old daughter and we couldn’t stop. Already added three of the included expansions to the gameplay and with 8 more to go there is lots of room for growth. Also played with my 80-year old Mom and she picked it up quickly. Highly recommended!

The instructions may be in French but an English translation is easy enough to find online.

Great for playing with kids as much as adults.

Ce jeu est vraiment bien, pour passer des après-midi ou soirée avec copain ou famille. Les dessins sur les tuiles sont assez bien faite pour restez simple et lisible en fil du jeu. On aimera beaucoup créer notre plateau de jeu. Qui ne ressemble a rien de parti en parti. BOX très complète avec beaucoup d’extension. Par contre pour les premiers fois au jeu. Je préconise de vraiment jouer au jeu de base sans extensions. ( Garder les tuiles extensions pour jouer mais n’utiliser pas les pions ou règles extensions ) Lisez plusieurs fois les règles pour bien vous imprégniez des règles de bases et après les extensions suivront. ( Je joue souvent sans extensions pour des plus parties rapide mais tout aussi cool ! ) Si vous n’êtes que 2/3 n’hésitez pas à restreindre votre plateau de jeu pour éviter les parties trooooop longue. Mais si vous voulez jouer longtemps les bords de table ferons les limites de jeu 😉. Voilà, je conseille au amateur ou aux pros des jeux de société stratégique.

We used to own this game which is one of our all-time fav. I would play with my daughter. Unfortunately, our box with extensions was caught in a fire and we lost it. We love the River, and some other extensions too. The river is a must-have and this is why we bought this box instead of the small one. Though we love the game, I personally don't like some of its features: - It's HUGE, not that easy to store; - I don't like the plastic part in there: I don't find it easy to find what goes where and the clean up after the play is not the part I like the most, for this specific reason - my daughter likes it better though, so it may depend on the personality. We used to have small boxes (2.5 inch) which were easier to handle. - The design is neat, and probably more modern, but both my daughter and I liked the previous design more. Other than that, all good. You gotta love this very versatile game!!

Io ho comprato varie espansioni, il gioco base e 2 box. Ho unito il gioco base alle espansioni e al box (il 2° l'ho regalato) e la partita dona ORE di divertimento (ho comprato anche altre pedine) Come primo approccio al mondo di Carcassone non lo consiglio, le istruzioni non sono chiarissime e partono dal principio che conosci già il sistema base. Secondo me è meglio iniziare con il gioco base, se poi vi piace comprate il BOX e unite il tutto!!!!! Le regole sono poche e una volta capiti i punteggi il gioco procede veloce, adoro rubare i punti delle città costruendo affianco ;) Ottimo per tutte le età, ma se volete apprezzare un po' di competitività è consigliato avere almeno +12 anni Nel caso vogliate togliere qualche espansione, il dorso delle carte he sempre un logo che ne identifica la provenienza

Bonne qualité. Vaut la peine si on veut quelques extensions.

Divertente. Coi bambini, che crescono in fretta, bisogno approfittare per giocare.
