Yes, very classy. Proper wood. Although it's not apparent from the description you can extend the flex to probs a metre, you can also easily adjust to any length in between. If you don't get the length right on the first fix, just unscrew the rose and let out or take in using the simple clamping mechanism inside. Takes 2 minutes.Looks great as a low light over my dining table. Shame I can't buy a standard lamp for my dining room but that's another story on a separate review.....

Delighted with my purchase. Replaced and old boring plain black shade . Excellent quality and the height can be adjusted, I wired mine into a remote control switch along with a dimmable Edison bulb . Has a lovely gold glow from inside the shade . Liked it so much I bought a second one . Matches my oak flooring and black leather sofa
