These have worked out great, especially when compared to other sesame seeds I've purchased in the past, which required toasting. I've used these on top of baked goods, breads, buns, etc., added them to Asian dishes, sprinkled them as a garnish on finished dishes, and used them as a crust for seared Ahi Tuna steaks just this week! Very good stuff.

I like the sweet taste and freshness of the product.

UPDATE : I've taken one star off as twice now I've received stale/rancid tubs of seeds that were still within their "sell by" freshness dates. Clearly the company that packages these need to be a little more conservative on these dates. Both times the product had between two and three months until it's expiration dates. Fortunately on both occasions Amazon sent out replacement products quickly and without requiring me to return the stale product, so that's a BIG "atta-boy" to Amazon!! BTW - both times the stale product was used as wild bird feed so as not to waste it. The birds don't seem to mind!! 👍 😉It may sound uncommon, but I mix these with Kevala Black Sesame Seeds in a ratio of about 3 to 1 and eat them as is as a source of fiber to aid the digestion process along with them being a great source of protein. They taste great (to me at least) and work well for the intended purpose. In addition to these benefits​, it is believed by some that there is also a benefit to people with diabetes. I cannot say if this is true or not but hey.... it's just another reason that I use these! So far, this is the most affordable source for toasted sesame seeds that I've found. High quality, very fresh, and highly recommended!! 👍
