The Ilex Wood Calendula Salve All-Natural Skin Balm 100ml

A great product, really appreciate the all natural, high quality ingredients and the care with which it's been made. I have psoriasis, resulting in itchy, dry skin on my cheekbones and forehead, and am always on the lookout for moisturising products that help to soothe, as well as improve the appearance of my skin. Most mass produced moisturisers, often containing chemicals, perfumes and alcohol actually make my shin worse. After two weeks of using the balm, just applying small dab of it to my face in the morning and just before bed, my skin feels calmed and moisturised. It feels good and as a bonus, the natural oils make it smell great. And because it has no added water (most moisturisers do!), a little goes a very long way, making it great value. Fully recommend.

This is my second purchase of this product after finishing the first. The balm has vaseline like consistency but less sticky and feels lighter on the skin. Very pleasant and subtle calendula fragrance. I have acne prone skin and most occlusives congest my skin but I am so surprised at how wonderfully this has worked ! Typically I use it under my eyes and lips to lock in skincare, or use it by itself when skin feels dry or inflamed . Even use it on a no make up day to give my skin a nice glow :)

This is awesome for my allergic reaction I get around my mouth and nose occasionally. I get spot first, then the whole area gets red and itchy and so painful, then the skin dies and flakes off. It takes over a week for it to start getting better on it's own but if I use this balm at the first signs of a reaction it keeps it calm and clears up much quicker. If I miss the start I put it in the sore skin and it helps to soothe it, and it still helps it heal quicker than it would on its own. This is my second tin as I lost the first one after having used about half of it. I recommend it to anyone with sore itchy skin, it's very mild and gentle and gives a protective barrier at the same time.

I love love this salve so gentle and non sticky ,I have ageing sensitive skin and am outdoors a lot walking my dog in all weathers..calms and protective,a little tin of heaven,have bought more now for family..we are a sensitive lot .Great product,worth every penny,and I’ve spent a lot of pennies on lotions and potions.Good buy.

I recently had a major eczema outbreak on my face and nothing I used worked. Everything just made my face sting and the eczema worse. So I went in the hunt for something to help calm it. This popped up and I thought I'd give it a go. Unfortunately it wasn't the miracle cure I was hoping for, but it didn't make my face sting and did help keep it hydrated and less scaley. I have since found a cream that did heal the eczema, but am still using this on my hands to help manage dermatitis. Smells lovely, really hydrating, and for the price it is a generous tub. I will definitely keep using it.

I cant praise this product enough. I suffer with contact dermatitis with eczema on my hands. I've used alot of medical products which help for so long,but back as soon as you stop. I then found that LUSH ultrabalm worked brilliantly and have used it ever since. But they have stopped making it😫. So the search was on to find a very similar product to do the same job. After many hours of searching and just about to give up I accidentally found THE IIEX WOOD COMPANY and found I was looking at a very high possibility of a replacement balm in the form of CALENDULA SALVE. I ordered 2 tins,didn't have to wait long before they arrived( at this point am very excited to start to use the salve) 1st tin is bigger then Lush one....more then twice the size for less money to.on opening the tin a gentle fragrance of lavender is released into the air. The salve is very like the lush one ,just a little softer .on using the salver it goes on beautiful and is soon absorbed in to my hands....love it. It's now been 2 weeks I've been using the calendula salve, am so impressed. My hands are almost healed,I've been able to work again (massaging with gloves is ok but not what I want to do) hobbies are back on to,baking,knitting and gardening. This product is a miracle in a tin,I recommended it all the time and will be taking it along to my local Lushshop so they can try and at least can give an alternative to customers now(.,they asked me to let them know if I found a suitable alternative. ) I will be buying again and also going to try iiex wood's other products so looking forward to that as am very into skin care. All I can say if you have used Lush ultrabalm in the past this is .....BETTER,much better.i highly recommend and so happy I accidentally cam across THE IIEX WOOD COMPANY. I've had eczema all my life and I'm always looking for natural creams and balms to put on my skin. It is very dry so finding something where my skin doesn't feel like a flapjack can be a struggle! I bought this product a while back and I finished the whole thing so I've just bought another and my skin is already saying thank you. It just melts into my skin! I've made a little routine now of putting some on my face (although I use it on my body also) before sleep and I wake up feeling so soft and calm! I love the packaging this salve comes in and I like that it has a nice natural smell to it, without anything perfumey that would mess with my skin. I know the price tag for some will be a little higher but I do think when it comes to taking care of yourself spending a little more is worth it. I'd love more people to buy from a small company like this, help them grow and treat your skin! Thanks again! Xxx

This is a little tin of awesomeness! I have been struggling with really itch sore shins for a few years now and have been to the docs numerous times. I’ve tried steroid creams, itch relief creams, all sorts and nothing seems to stop the itching. Then I came across this little miracle. As soon as I feel the itch, I slather this on and it stops the itch and my rash on my leg is finally starting to clear up. It smells gorgeous and arrives in a little cute tin that can be used again, will most definitely buy again and will try other products they have too 😊

Me gusta mucho esta crema de Caléndula. Me queda la duda de si es o no vegana. En la caja no hay símbolo/sello vegano (sí lo tienen los productos de esta misma marca de Diente de León y Bálsamo labial). Esta crema llegó en buen estado (no derretida, como llegó la de Diente de León) y se puede aplicar fácilmente. Yo he comenzado utilizándola para las picaduras de mosquito y funciona. Me gusta su textura, el hecho de que sea natural sin aditivos químicos, y su aroma muy suave. También he recibido el Bálsamo labial, que me gusta mucho, dejando un ligero y agradable sabor a menta tras aplicarlo en los labios. El bálsamo labial he tenido que guardarlo en la nevera para que mantuviera cierta consistencia a la hora de poder aplicarlo. Tanto este bálsamo como la crema de caléndula son suaves y fáciles de aplicar. No dejan la piel grasienta. La cantidad de la caja es muy pequeña, es cierto, pero entiendo que debería aplicarse una pequeñísima cantidad para que surta su efecto. La crema de Diente de León, que me llegó casi completamente derretida (y con una cantidad más pequeña de la que se indica en el anuncio de venta y en la cajita), he tenido que guardarla junto con el bálsamo labial en la nevera. Me pregunto si tanto el bálsamo como la crema deben permanecer siempre en la nevera para que mantengan una mínima consistencia o es solo un efecto del calor del verano. Agradecería que esto se indicara en el anuncio de venta de estas cremas. Por último, como en otras ocasiones, agradezco poder encontrar vendedores de productos VEGANOS que siguen escaseando ya sean de cosmética, ropa o productos alimenticios.

Bestes Produkt, dass ich seit langem gekauft habe. Unser Sohn hatte ganz schlimme rissige Hände und wir wissen nicht woher es kommt. Zu wenig Sonne, zu viel Kälte... Keine Ahnung. Wir haben es mit Penaten und Bepanthen probiert, weil ihm teilweise wirklich die Hände schmerzten. Dann habe ich diese Salbe hier entdeckt und mehrfach täglich dünn aufgetragen. Bereits nach 1 Tag bemerkten wir, dass die Haut tatsächlich besser wird. Nach nun 2 Wochen sind die Hände wie neu. DER Geruch ist angenehm und die Konsistenz etwas fester und sehr ergiebig. Ich werde dieses Produkt auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen, denn auch mein Mann verwendet sie inzwischen für die eher rauen Hände :))

Le Baume est vraiment bien et a une odeur très agréable. Je recommande.

Great herbal salve, it’s the real deal..it worked great and gentle for my granddaughter that has eczema.. she loved it and it provided instant relief and healing.. I highly recommend it for anyone suffering with skin issues, I’m also ordering one for myself.
