Neewer Vertical Power Grip for Sony A9 A7III A7RIII Camera Replacement for Sony VG-C3EM Only Works with NP-FZ100 Battery (Battery Not Included)

I bought the Neewer Vertical Power Grip for my Sony A7III, and I have been really pleased with it. It fits the camera perfectly and feels secure once attached. The overall fit is very good, and it looks like it belongs on the camera rather than feeling like a cheap add-on. The finish matches the body well, and once fitted it gives the camera a more substantial and professional feel. One of the main reasons I wanted a grip was comfort. I have issues with gripping, and this has made a noticeable difference when holding the camera, especially for longer periods. It gives me more to hold on to and makes the camera feel better balanced in the hand. For portrait orientation shooting, it is also much more comfortable than trying to hold the camera sideways for extended periods. The controls are well placed and make vertical shooting much easier. It also adds extra practicality by allowing the use of additional battery power, which is useful for longer shoots or days out when you do not want to keep swapping batteries. Overall, this is a very good power grip for the Sony A7III. It fits well, looks good, feels comfortable and makes the camera easier to handle. For the price, I think it offers excellent value and is a very worthwhile accessory.

Was a bit concerned about reviews showing battery incompatibility, but it works perfectly on my Sony A9 ver 6.0 firmware, with official and unofficial batteries. It's never going to feel as high quality as the main body but it feels fine and looks the part, I like that the shutter actually has a click compared to just the squish of the A9. Main complaints are that I often accidentally press or hold the second shutter when holding the camera normally, this can interfere with autofocus, it does have a lockout switch but that makes switching to the vertical grip annoying. Biggest complaint is that the batteries are very hard to remove from the compartment and sometimes a bit finnicky to put back in, not a huge deal because 2 batteries is way more than I need for a full day of shooting, but still, annoying that they feel very locked in there.

The quality is by no means cheep looking or feeling. Good firmest to my mkiii body. Obviously not as refined as the original however for the money I am happy. As per reviews the buttons are a tad noisyer than the body but not a deal breaker and the suspect week latch isn’t as bad as made out. With care and attention I don’t expect any issues.

Just what I was looking for without spending a fortune. Feels good, looks good, double battery life.

This was sold as used but it arrived in original box well wrapped with all the instructions and in perfect looking condition. It fits the camera well and all the custom buttons seem to function as they should do. The only downside is that it only works with genuine Sony batteries but that’s not a problem for me and it clearly tells you that in the description. This was half the price of a new one meaning I could buy nearly 10 of these compared to a Sony one!!! Even at full price I would still highly recommend it. I’ve never held a Sony one so I can’t compare it to quality and weight. I’ve bought genuine before and usually there’s not much in it to be honest certainly not for the amount of money you pay. I only put 3 stars for battery life because I really don’t see the point in it and I haven’t used the grip for any length of time yet. Overall I definitely recommend this product and I just can’t understand why Sony, Nikon, Cannon and the rest need to charge so much for this type of product other than pure greed.

Far cheaper than the original and just as good, if you are looking for a decent grip as well as a way to help extend your battery life then this is a great option. The grip feels great and it does not add too much weight to the camera, it feels like a natural extension of the camera, it’s that good!

This fits the camera perfectly and is an absolute bargain at this price. Fitted out with two freshly charged batteries the performance is superb and the handling of the camera is noticeably better than without the grip fitted. Very very impressed and happy customer, would recommend to anyone.

Love this product for photography with my A7iii. Feels great being able to shoot portrait with the grip and the extra battery life is great to have. When shooting video though (mostly 4K, but sometimes HD), the grip makes the camera overheat. I've tested this out and while using the camera to film without the grip, overheating isn't an issue. Just be careful when using it during video shoots and 100% don't film professional jobs for a long time with it on!

Vraiment très agréablement surpris par la qualité des matériaux utilisés. Je ne fais pas la différence avec la qualité de fabrication de mon A7iii. Toutes les commandes fonctionnent à merveille ! C'est un réel plus pour mon boîtier.

Wow fell in love how comfy this grip and looks more pro and easy to carry now

Perfect accessory to my a9. Of course it’s much cheaper and has cosmetic imperfections, however it’s hardly noticeable when compared to the benefit of working with an extra battery on deck. It does feel light and made of plastic, but when it’s locked onto the camera, it feels alright, lightweight but sturdy enough. I have two of these now and it’s the best bang for your buck. Works as it should. Shutter button definitely feels different from the camera button. But it’s clicky and works well. The buttons and dial work as they should as well. The grip is more rubbery than the camera’s leather like grip, however i like this better since it feels like it grips better in the hands, not slippery. To be real nit-picky, you can tell slightly that it’s a different material, finish and weight, however you’ll be the only one to know or even care LOL. The benefits far out-way the cons, imho. It’s also nice that there’s no giant visible logo like other third party brands.

縦位置グリップ欲しかったのですが、重くなるのが気になって購入を躊躇していたところ、純正ではなく、こちらのプラスチック製なら、大幅に軽いことに気づき購入しました。 結果として、縦撮りはしやすくなり、重さもあまり増えず、作りもしっかりしており大満足です。 確かに、ボタンやダイヤルの感触は少し違いますが、特に問題となるレベルではありません。 ちなみに他社製のレビューだと本体にくっつける時、力がいるとの記載が目立ちましたが、こちらの商品はスッと入りました。 一つだけ欠点としては、グリップを使用中、電池のフタを止めて置く、部分の穴が大きく、かかりが悪いです。 ただし、それも3点で止める内の1つだけなので、使用には問題なかったです。 純正の1/5の額で、僕の欲しかった機能は全てあって、最高のグリップでした。
