I use this in my coffee every morning. While MCT (Medium chain trigycerides) are a saturated fat, their short carbon chain means that they remain liquid. And neither medium nor short chain fatty acids can be stored as fat, the MCT provides a little energy without contributing directly to weight gain. If you mix them with carbs, then you've missed the boat. Carbs will force fat storage of everything you've eaten while the MCT provide energy that could have come from using up the useless carbs. So don't mix carbs with your MCT. In fact, remove carbs from your diet. Our bodies create all the glucose we need. Anyway, this is a fine product at a decent price.

This a very little light, shelf stable, oil that I use at my office. It has no smell and soaks into the skin gently with out leaving one feeling like a greased up axle.

Great MCT oil. I have tried several brands and I do not notice the difference in the taste or quality of this brand and it is less expensive. I will be a repeat customer. I am a fan of MCT oil.

I guess all good things must taste bad. I guess this is what MCT oil suppose to taste like DO NOT take more than ONE teaspoon at first, or you will have stomach cramps and spend most of the day in the bathroom. I guess later you get used to it. The exact benefit is difficult to verify without a glucose monitor

I love this product - the fact that there is no fragrance/smell, it doesn’t stick to my client’s bodies & feels really nice & smooth. I’ve re-ordered this multiple times and will probably continue doing so.

The oil, having originated from India, had me concerned about the heavy metal content of it. It looks like there is no reason for concern. I added the Certificate of Analysis for the lot number I received. As you can see, it is very clean. Other lot numbers would be slightly different but probably not by much.

I just took a sip of this MCT oil and on my tongue it tasted OK but as I swallowed it there's a horrible bitter taste. I just took a sip of the Nutiva oil I still have a small amount of and it tastes perfect. I've read that MCT oil can have a bitter taste due to the presence of caproic acid (C6), but high-quality MCT oils remove that to improve the taste. Verdana doesn't have C6 so why does it have a bad taste?
