Well, I had another case that was working, but I got used to having a strap on my old kindle case and I missed it. I had this case for one day. I was not sure if I liked it because I read in bed on my back. There was no mechanism to keep the case folded back. My old case for my old kindle had a strap to keep it secured fully open. However, the clincher came the next day. I had the case closed with my iPhone on top of it all night (a very modest weight), in the morning the screen was super messed up. I turned it off and back on, but it didn’t help. I suspected that because the new kindle has a flat screen, totally flush with the edges of the kindle, unlike the old kindle where the screen was slightly recessed, that the pressure of the strap on the screen all night really did a number on the screen. It is either that or the magnet used to open/close the case is too much for the kindle. Either way, I was totally panicked that the case had destroyed my new kindle. I took my kindle out of this case and put it in my slightly (just by a week) older case with no strap, and when I got home from work my kindle was fine. Thank goodness. I don’t think I’ll keep this case, but for $6.00 it wasn’t much of a risk... I’m not sure it is worth the hassle of returning.

Love it! Needed a case with a hand strap. Much easier for me to make sure I do t accidentally drop it. The kindle fits perfectly in it. Closes tightly. Great price

I like the color and weight. I even like the strap for holding it. It is convenient that when shut, it turns OFF my Kindle Paperwhite, but I dislike that it does not STAY open while I am reading. This is especially awful when I am drifting off to sleep and the e-book smacks me in the face:(

The cover is great and fits my 2018 Paperwhite perfectly. Compared to the other kindle covers I've owned, this one is a little more difficult to open as there's not a good "lip" sticking out to grab. But I'm not complaining for the price!! I absolutely LOVE the handle which easily allows me to read with one had. I ordered the bright pink but it's actually more of a red color than pink.

Corners chip just from holding the kindle. I've only had it about 10 days. Do not buy this style! The corners are now so sharp, it's uncomfortable to hold.

Going good so far. Bought it coz of extra strap to uandle whixh actually is helpful for new kindle users. Usually cheap ones start losing glue or getting tear hear and there. Hope it works fine, till now 1 week going good

I really like this style kindle cover. BUT this was the 3rd I'd tried for the 10th gen. A lower corner has chipped off on all of them. I don't think they have figured this out yet. No I didn't drop or mistreat this..plastic just chipped off.
