This hair color was exactly what I needed. My gray hairs were getting completely out of control, and it had been months since I’d been able to afford a professional salon visit. I have used L'Oreal hair color for many years, but it has gotten pricier, so I tried Garnier Nutrisse and really like it! The Truffle color is very pretty and multi-dimensional. Coverage is good and leaves hair soft and shiny. I'm now placing my third order for a 2-pack.

Great color

I was a long time use of the Clairol Natural Instincts brand in Medium Brown but became disappointed with how dark the shade turned out. I decided to switch to the Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing crème hair color formula in Medium Brown 50 Truffle and It exceeded my expectations! It’s a soft brown that’s a more natural medium brown and does a great job of covering the gray. I like the thicker formula and the avocado oil that’s mixed in before applying. And it smells so nice! The only problem I have with this brand is the after coloring conditioner. I used about a quarter size of the conditioner as I’ve done with the Clairol brand but as others have mentioned, it made my hair feel kind of oily and it removed the nice scent that was left after coloring. This is where the Clairol Natural Instincts has Garnier beat. The Clairol after color conditioner leaves my hair soft, shiny, and smells oh so good! I’ll continue to use the Garnier coloring formula, but I’m tossing out the conditioner and sticking with the Clairol conditioner.

Is better to buy 2 save me time. Covers my grays

I've been loyal to this hair color for years, using it every 3-4 weeks to keep my grays at bay. But, over the past couple of months, I've noticed a significant decline in performance. Grey coverage used to be 100%, but now it's around 95% - leaving some pesky grays behind, no matter how long I leave it on. I've tried extending the processing time, but it just doesn't deliver like it used to. Additionally, the color fades faster now, lasting only 3-4 weeks instead of 4-5. Has the formula changed? Whatever it is, I wish they'd revert to the original recipe!

Been using this product for some years now and it’s great. Nice smell and it does not run. Very easy to apply.
