Best tent ever
There's something about surrounding one's self in a nylon box that detracts from the outdoors experience for me, so I normally use a tarp. I love this tent though. I can just use one half to make a wee cave to shelter in or both halves to create a cosy canvas tent. Had it up on the shores of a loch on a wet and windy night with gusts of F10 (according to xcweather). Shed the wind no problem. Water seemed to bead up and roll off so the fabric didn't wet out at all. I used two poles to make an A-frame to maximise internal space. Cosy for two - a palace for one.

polish army two man tent
i have had this tent for a few months now and used it a couple of times it is very very sterdy I only have a few conplaints which are it does not come with a pole but because it tells you about that in the information do not let that sway your view, when I got the tent I descovered there was a small hole in it and a brocken button.but I know this is a one off problem and not all of the tents have this problem.other than those complaints I have to say a brilliant tent.

Good quality
Anyone buying this will already know they were made in the 70's / 80's. Therefore expect something which will need proofing to be properly waterproof. That said, mine was in great condition.

A tent you can wear .
Great tent , Can be worn both half's at once , designed to be carried by two people in two half's or worth the extra weight carried by on in cold climate , can be used with heat . but also its good for keeping sunlight out in hot climates , combined with a ground sheet and bug netting it makes a good choice of tent .

Great gift for outdoor person
My son chose this after extensive review of all the "tent/basha" options. It fits together extremely simply and quickly - it only requires 8 tents pegs and a makeshift pole/stick. Highly suitable for an adventure!

Polish Lavvu/Tipi/Poncho tent
A £20 tent that works....what's is not to like, and the lovely smell of canvas to boot!!Its' all been said before, but it really does work. I would describe it as fairly light weight canvas, not heavy, but is waterproof and sturdy (mine came with poles). I added loops from the circumferential grommets to ease pegging out. The supplied alloy pegs were pretty useless, so bought for £6 another good set of 20!!There is nearly 7' of floor diameter, I am 6'4" and can lay out. Abundant room for one and kit.....cosy for two? Great for the canoe and can be up in about a minute. Packs down to about a two cubic feet. Add a simple groundsheet.............and go.£20 . Spent another £6 on pegs..... Terrific. And yes...it's waterproof. Stood up to a full days rain without a drip. Spray with proofer if in doubt.Definitely recommended, warm, dry, stable, simple and oh so cheap from Military Mart (£20)So impressed, I bought a second one.......just in case?
