Works brilliantly
Bought this for my son to lay my carpets, it is very sturdy , has a padded end to help protect your knee's and works a treat. It is very easy to use and can be used either left or right knee, it was very good price too, brilliant product

Works fine for a quick DIY job
My first and only time using one of these tools, so I can't compare it to other manufacturers. But it did the job, hasn't broken and now it will sit in the shed for a few years until I need one again. As an inexpensive tool for non-professional casual use, it seems good enough.However, the cap to go over the head and protect it, doesn't fit, at all. I've sellotaped a bit of off-cut carpet around it for storage but if use one more regularly, that's a bit of pain. Knocked a star off for this as it's such a stupid design fault that shouldn't happen.

Unessential but useful
Not an essential tool for carpet fitting, but this definitely helps to keep a nice, tight, flat fitting, especially if you're working on your own.A well padded example for a good price. If you're committing to the purchase, you can't go wrong with this one.

Good tool for the job
Did the job perfectly, I did three carpets with no problems at all.No idea when I’ll use it again, but it certainly helps if you’ve got a lot of carpet to fit.

Is it worth the money?
Answered simply...Yes! Quite light but does the job of maneuvering and manipulating the carpet. Did the stairs and was ideal for that.

Very handy bit of kit.
I was quoted over £1000 to do a hall, stairs, and landing with budget carpeting. I thought stuff that, so I got quality carpet and underlay and did it myself. This tool, combined with a carpet chisel, makes the job easy. Look on YouTube for advice, and you can't go wrong. This tool tightens the carpet around the edges and gets rid of any ridges you may have.I saved myself a few hundred quid, so I am very pleased.
