Does not come in a bucket as pictured
Pictured is a bucket, but it actually comes in a resealable bag. Luckily I still had my bucket.False advertising in my opinion.

It does not come in the bucket.
This is exactly the same as what I was buying from Petco but in tiny containers for an insane price. Just be warned though, this does not come in the bucket that is pictured, it would have been nice, it comes in a resealable plastic bag. I assume the manufacturer changed the packaging to cut costs, which isn't a big deal. Just wish that the seller would update the picture on the item to annotate this. The pellets are very small, and if you just drop them on the surface of the water, they may not sink. I leave my pumps on so that the tiny pellets will float around in the water column. I think this helps the fish as they now have to "hunt" down their food.

New packaging, likely trying to absorb inflation costs and keeping prices lower for consumers.
Just refill your existing bucket, don't throw it out, recycle and reuse.

Itβs a bag of food not a bucket
I was under the impression this was going to be a bucket of food but it ended up coming in a bag.

Not sure of the value
Quality.I have a 135g mixed saltwater tank and had it for over 8 yrs. I mix my fish food with other types of fish food for variety. I believe these are supposed to be sinking pellets. First few months, they sank and that was good but after that, 1/3 of them stayed floating and they just go straight into overflow and gets trashed in the sump. I'm pretty sure these leftovers will definately contribute to extra algae growing. You can work around it by presoaking these in a cup for 5 mins but thats one of extra works for buying in bulk.Even the ones that sank, fish seem to prefer other food as these still get left behind on sand bed.ValueBought one of these couple years back for $43 and that was a good value for buying in bulk although it was eating up storage space. Now they are over $70 and they are in a paper bag, not in a plastic pail like they used to. They raised the price by almost double in couple of years but got rid of bucket?? It requires additional work for storage. If you are planning on using this over time, you need to consider additional cost for storage.Final thoughtGot lazy and just ordered the usual. As soon as I find a replacement, I'm done.

Good pellet food
Works well for my fish. I like pellets more than flakes. They seem cleaner. Fiah haven't had any issues - Angel fish, Cory catfish, gouramis and some tetras.

Now comes in a bag instead of a pail
Now comes in a (plastic?) bag. Sealed bag weighed in at 2275 grams. Slightly disappointing for those of us who like to reuse the empty fish food pails. Must be cheaper for the manufacturer? Food seems to be the same as before. :)
