Awesome sauce, has just the right amount of โheatโ to it!! = 5***** +
This is addicting itโs so good! I do like spicy and hot sauces and ordered this just for the heck of it. I figured that if I didnโt like it I wouldnโt be out a lot of money. Iโm using this on anything that I can - thatโs how good it is. For me I like each of the ingredients and the combination of them in the right proportions makes for a fantastic sauce! I have been cooking (as a hobby) since I was 14 years old and Iโm now in my 60โs and donโt cook like I used to (itโs not worth it for just myself). This makes me extremely critical of the food I eat thatโs prepared by others - I am always comparing it to the way I would have made it. This sauce, however is something that I can honestly say is perfect! The balance of the ingredients is what gives it the great taste - when used itโs hard to tell which one you are tasting. The โheatโ level is a bit hot and for those who donโt like anything that has this type of taste might not like it as much as the other sauce they make (Be Sweet) as opposed to this (Be Hot) flavor. I have had this for less than a week and find myself looking for things to use it on - so far Iโve had it on chicken, roast beef, turkey sandwiches - Iโm also going to bring it to an Indian restaurant next week (I think it would be great for chicken tiki masala). Other than tasting great, itโs also a โhealthyโ grocery item for those who look for this when buying food. I could go on and on about how good this is but instead I will just say โtry itโ, you will like it! Even if you donโt care for one of the ingredients on its own this sauce has the right balance of them that itโs not easy to identify any particular one.

Lives up to it's hype, simply the best and most versatile sauce ever.
Honestly this is the best and most versatile sauce I have ever purchased. The balance of Avocado, vinegar, pepper and other flavors has a very interesting profile and while it is hot it is not at all too hot. This can be used on a wide variety of foods and even salads to add a very interesting and nuanced flavor profile. I love it and have dozens of different commercial sauces, none of which are as versatile as this one. It goes with chicken, beef, cheese, salads, vegetables and more. It isn't cheap and you probably need to use it within a month or 2 after you open it, but it is good enough that that shouldn't be a problem. I will be trying the mild and the sweet as well, but I have found that the hot is just right for me.

Addicting, mostly good for Mexican or Tex-Mex.
This sauce tasted amazing if you like avacados and habaneros. It's got some heat, but if you like spicy things, I wouldn't consider it very hot. If you don't like spicy things, you would probably consider this pretty spicy. I bought a bottle and went through it pretty quick, so I ordered another right away. I find myself staring at it in my refrigerator, wishing I had something that it would be delicious to put on. This is the only downside to the sauce, from what I've tasted, it's only really good on Mexican food. I guess most sauces that are any good have a limited range of food they work for, so it's not a unique problem. I will say I've had random cravings for it so I squeezed a little on my finger and licked it off. This stuff is so good tasting. I'm making tacos tonight so I can use this sauce.

I'm dousing everything in this stuff
I'm not the biggest hot sauce fan. I find most of them to just add "hot" to a dish and not much else. Others are loaded up with tons and tons of vinegar, peppers and not much else. This stuff, on the other hand, adds a nice kick of spice but more importantly: it delivers a mountain of flavor. The base is onion, peppers, mango, and spices and it really shines through. It's sweet, but not overpowering. Creamy, but still manages to add the much needed spice kick. I put it on rice and beans, but decided to branch out and put it on pizza, hummus, soup, chili. Its extremely versatile and works well with a number of base flavors and types of cuisine. This is far and away my favorite hot sauce, and if avocado and mango hot sauce sounds good to you, you shouldn't hesitate, its absolutely delicious!

Good, solid avocado salsa, but not the best.
The flavor is solid, but it is more like a low fat tomatillo salsa than a high fat avocado salsa. For being a "premium" avocado sauce, notice that there is more onion, green pepper and mango in this than avocado. And it is pretty mild. Jalapeno puree comes in on the list of ingredients below salt and garlic, which means you need to use a lot of it to get any heat out of it. The combination of low heat and high purchase price makes it a poor value as a hot sauce. $11.99 for 13.1 ounces is 91.5 cents per ounce. So a one ounce squirt on your burrito? There goes a dollar. My favorite avocado based sauce is Herdez guacamole salsa. The flavor is superior. It actually tastes like guacamole. It is quite a bit spicier, probably 3 times a much jalapeno as Kumana has. It is a better value at $2.38 per bottle on Amazon Fresh delivery ($0.15 / ounce). If Kumana and Herdez were priced the same, I would buy Herdez because I like the flavor better. However, because Kumana is priced 6 times more expensive than Herdez, I won't be buying Kumana ever again.

Our new default hot sauce
I decided to try a series of sauces to determine which one would be our go-to sauce in the future (too much free time and not enough during these Pandemic days). After trying a number of different ones, the Kumana Avocado Hot Sauce was the definitive winner. It is spicy, but tastefully so. It does not numb out your palate, but richly engages it with a fully rounded up flavour. It does not overwhelm any food it is added to, but complements it solidly. It is, in every way, an ideal condiment. I highly recommend it. It deserves to be on every table.

One of my cravings for Venezuela finally satisfied
Having been expatriate in Venezuela for 9 years my Venezuelan friends introduced me to many wonderful culinary items--arepas, fantastic barbeque and all things avocado, especially avocado sauce which i'd never tried or seen in the U.S.--i was hooked and ever since repatriating have been looking for that Venezuelan flavor profile. Couldn't find it until i tried this sauce. I didn't know the founder was from Venezuela until after purchasing and trying it but it immediately brought back those fond culinary memories. This stuff can literally be put on anything but it excels on lesser cuts of meat and eggs. I've purchased both the Original and the "Hot" which has a kick but isn't so spicy that it overwhelms the avocado. As many have said the flavor isn't overwhelmingly avocado--if you want that then make guacamole--but the blend with onion and cilantro is perfect. Thank you Francisco Pavan for bringing this to the U.S. !

One of my favorites
I am a hot sauce fanatic, aficionado, collector/hoarder and this one really caught my taste buds. I am also a professional chef that makes my own sauces as well and this one really impressed. I have only tried the hot so far, but look forward to trying the original and mango soon. The hot has a great balance of acid, and sweetness with the habanero giving just the right amount of heat. The avocado then brings everything together. It has a nice texture as well with just a little but of chunkiness. It is reminiscent of a chimichurri in some regards. Great sauce!
