Regency Era Fashion Plates: 1800-1809: Volume 1

Highly recommend!! Page after page of color plates some of them with original descriptions, I wish other eras were available!

I make historical costumes and found this book very useful to see what was fashionable at the time. It does not tell you how to construct the garments, nor show tiny details of the stitching. I like this book as a valuable reference so rate it very highly.

This is a good book to use for reference and ideas on creating a terrific Regency wardrobe. I have several of the Regency Era Fashion Plate books and each one is filled with beautiful clothing. I love looking through all the plates for inspiration before creating a new Regency outfit.

Really great resource for anyone creating a Regency "LOOK"

fashion prints from the era are on pinterest. I recommend this book but if it is out of your budget you can make your own fashion print book with what is available online and on pinterest alone. Some duplicates from her other book though.
