My Simple Sewing (Klutz Jr.)

My 5 year old grandson loves sewing. This kit has everything needed to keep a young child entertained. It is easy to use and so much fun. The sewing needles are plastic so I don't need to worry about him sticking himself or me. The end product is cute too. Highly recommend.

My daughter is 4 1/2 years old and interested in sewing. I am an accomplished seamstress, and I was looking for a kit that would be approachable for her and inspire her to want to actually practice stitching--that's all that matters to me, because that's how she'll gain the skills to move on to more advanced projects. This fit the bill. The projects are simple, with enough sewing to be valuable practice; they were fun for her (she wanted to do them all on day 1) and quick to complete. She did all of the stitching herself, and threaded the needle herself. The felt stickers that finish the projects are lots of fun and she is happy with the results. If there's no adult present who has at least elementary sewing skills to guide the child, then 4 is probably too young for this, but with really minimal guidance, it was perfect.

Will be giving this as a gift for my 6 year old daughter. She hasn't tried any sewing activity yet so I hope this is easy enough for her to learn the craft. Can't really comment on the product performance since I haven't opened the package yet

I bought this for my niece who is 8yr old and wants to learn to sew. The box indicates 4yr and up. My sister informed me that this was pretty ambitious to think a 4 or 5yr old could do. My 8yr old niece is accustomed to doing crafts and had difficulty with it. However, my sister informed me it was an appropriate amount of difficulty for an 8yr old, and they did do it together. She had a lot of fun working on it! I just wanted to warn anyone thinking about getting it for a younger child that it will require patience and assistance.

This is a wonderful simple sewing kit for little ones just learning the basics of simple sewing. Included in the kit are some cardboard practice pieces to learn sewing with. Then there are 3 super cute felt projects to make. The felt is pre-cut and nice quality. Also included is plastic sewing needle, felt stickers and yarn to sew with.

I bought these cute felt projects for my 6 year old daughter and she was able to make all of these with very little assistance.

Grandsons saw me mending and wanted to know about sewing. This kit comes with all you need and is bright and colorful. Twins read the directions with me, laid out the materials they needed, sewed with just a little supervision, then gathered the stick ons they wanted to use, planned their placement and attached. Good craft for simple sewing and learning to follow directions for a successful product!

Amazing!!! My almost 5 year old daughter watches me on the sewing machine and has been really wanting to learn how to sew. This kit was perfect for her. It was definitely well thought out- easy to read directions, a thread stopper, felt decorations with adhesive so no need to glue anything on at the end. She loved it and was so proud of herself!

Fantastic for a 5 year old. Easy, good instructions and age appropriate. I got the Alex toys sewing kit for my 10 year old and was disappointed with the lack on instructions.

My 7-year old loves this kit and had no trouble following the instructions, with a little help from me (this was her first sewing project). The end results are super cute! Comes with everything you need to sew the three projects included in the set.
