EDIT: It broke within 3 months. First the top would not stay closed so the phone would slide out at the slightest provocation. I taped it closed, but then the unit would no longer charge the phone. I made sure the lightning port was clear of lint but alas it still wouldn’t work. Unfortunately I had to downgrade my recommendation to two stars for below average performance/longevity.This is my third and second-favorite case. The battery life is not as robust compared to others and the top slides out to install the phone but is held in place with some magnets. This may tend to erase hotel key cards and I wish I'd known before buying.These cases only seem to last 9-10 months which isn't bad considering the price and utility. The charge port usually breaks. Time will tell - I've only had this one for a couple weeks but so far, it's holding up well.Plusses: 1. The LED indicator is easily seen and shows the actual charge level in the case. Others I've had change color and it's easy to forget what percentage the colors represent.2. External Buttons aren't easily pressed but not so hard that it's frustrating.3. LightweightMinuses:1. Battery life seems less than rated and compared to other models.2. Magnetic top might erase access/credit cards

I have been using this case for about a week. great features about it it is the fact that it uses a lightning port as opposed to the micro USB the competition does. The headset jack does not require a special dongle and the case accommodates iPhone 6 to 8. Packaging and instructions where nicely bundled. There is also a set right on the case itself. in order to have the battery charge your phone you need to press the button on the back of the case. It charges the phone prior to the case when connected to a cable. Draw back number 1 you have to make sure you don't forget to press the button in order to continue having the charge. if you had to compare this to the Mophie case it's 1/3 of the price offers more juice and needs no adapters or cables. Mophie allows to charge the phone through the day which is it's bonus. I accidentally dropped the case when picking up a package, other than a couple scuffs my screen did not shatter, the cap did fly out though but did not break. I do have a protector on it. The case is thinner and shorter than Mophie. Overall i give it a 4.9 Seriously. Sound is also not redirected to the front like the other case. I did wish they had a belt clip for it or that it was available for the PLUS or the newer model. Hopefully they will have that in the future.

The media could not be loaded.  I am completely happy with this item. The case is easy to put on and remove unlike other battery cases. Also it has the lighting port so I can use the same Apple charging cable on both the phone and the case it’s self, again unlike another brand of battery case. Good battery life 4000mAh can last me almost 2 charges backup charges. Does not heat up too much which is nice. Easy operation. I would recommend this item.UpdateOver a month has passed and I am still very pleased with this product. Would definitely recommend.

The standard case for my iPhone 6s is Lifeproof. Exceptional protection, but of course no additional battery.This case offers good protection all around, but you will need a separate glass protector. The case is not waterproof, but extremely useful if you need additional battery life for a few days. Battery life seems close to the advertised 4000 mA-Hr. It does make the total weight (phone + case) at least double relative to my Lifeproof case, but it was expected.Installation is easy to follow using the attached instructions. Just take off the top piece, slide in the phone, and reattach the top.To start or stop charging your phone, just press the button on the back for 3 seconds. The 4 LEDs on the back of the case show the battery level of the case, only when it’s charging your phone. If your phone battery is already shot, just always keep it charging. If your battery is good (I replaced mine at the end of 2018 for $29), DO NOT keep it charging continuously! Instead, maintain the phone battery level between 50% and 70% (meaning, do not charge past 70% and do not discharge lower than 50%), and your phone battery will last much longer. Very easy to do with this case.

I've had this battery case for a few month now and it does hold about a charge and a half which is great for getting me through the day. I am very happy with the case.The reason that I'm writing is that I goofed and dropped the case on tile. The case did it's job and protected my phone but I broke the top piece to my case. I contacted the seller and offered to buy a new top piece. The seller was great and just sent me the top part of the case for free. The new top piece arrived quickly and fit just like the original.Really great customer service.

Have been using this case for over a month. Very robust and doubles up the battery life/cycle for the iphone. Has a manual button to either turn on/off the charging via the attached case. It does add some bulk to the phone, but that is expected from an external battery case.The feel/grip of the case (I believe if has a silicon exterior feel) is very good!

I've had my iPhone 6 for five years, and as expected my battery wasn't lasting through a whole day even with minimal use... So I was faced with a choice. $300 for a newer, but still used iPhone? $80 to replace the battery through Apple? Or... $30-ish to just extend the life of what I have? Being the somewhat responsible citizen of this planet that I am, I chose the latter, and bought this battery case. It's been about 3 weeks now of using it every. single. day. and I've loved it. I can go a full day and a half or two days again without charging up the case, which is awesome considering I was having to charge my phone every half day or so before. The case has some bulk/weight to it, but it's actually kinda nice. It's a good shape, and I can still use my normal headphones or car aux cable with it. Literally has made my 5 year old phone feel new again.
