2 year review of this bed May 4th 2024: It has held up beautifully. It's still just as beautiful now as the day I assembled it. It's durable, easy to clean, and still a bed I enjoy coming home to. I've had no issues with tears, breaking, weakening, fading in color, nothing. I would buy this bed again and again, fortunately I have not had to though. If you buy this bed you will not be disappointed. I absolutely LOVE this bed! My husband surprisingly loves it as well. Not only is this velvet soft to the touch, the perfect color, it fits our adjustable base, and It's got pockets!! Ok, not pockets exactly. But i feel like it's a detail I would share about a dress that has pockets. It's got STORAGE! Lots of it too. Important to note that the storage at the end of the bed DOES have springs to keep it opened without taking the whole "seat" off. The storage on the sides of the bed DO NOT have spring loaded "seats" you have to take off the entire length of the seat or hold it with one hand while grabbing for whatever with the other. I got tired of holding it open or taking them off so my husband and I went to the local hardware store and fixed that to our liking. Things to add: I was worried about the storage spaces holding full body weight.. like you know? Full body weight... I'm married to a body builder so he is very muscle heavy, I was worried he would stand up on the sides and it collapse or break. There is absolutely no issue with that. The height is perfect for numerous reasons, but mostly because I use it as a small step to get out of our tall bed. 😅 Anyway i hardly ever write a review on Amazon, but this was worth it! Adding that is Dec '22 and we've had it since May '22. May come back at Year mark to update again.

i got the blue one, and this bed is the most gorgeous bed i've ever owned. i feel like royalty in the Moulin Rouge or something, haha- it's so awesome. it IS huge, so make sure you measure your room accordingly. i got the full size one so i would still have enough space in my small bedroom. i put it together solo, and i am a handy female. the packages it arrives in are very heavy, so be prepared for that with either some help or a good lifting practice at the gym. (i did all of this, including bringing the boxes inside by myself) if you're assembling it solo, set aside maybe half a day or a few hours, and you will need the space to put it together. the instructions are easy to follow, and everything seemed very well made. my only complaint is that there were a few upholstery staples that came loose on the inside piping of bench top seat for the side that were sharp and found by my fingers, but i was only slightly pricked, and able to remove those loose staples without it seeming to effect the bench at all. the foot of the bed opens via hinges, and the sides are compartments with the length of the bench seat serving as lids which you have to lift off in order to access storage- but they are not heavy and very easy to take on and off whenever. the blue velvet is absolutely stunning and so rich in color. it's very very soft and silky to touch, and there was no strong smell of any kind, which is great because i'm sensitive to chemical smells that often come with online purchases. i could not be happier. it was well worth the price even though i could barely afford the purchase.

I want to first start by saying it’s everything I wanted from the first time I laid eyes on this bed! Very easy to put together, the color I got was grey and it’s beautiful, it’s very sturdy, I’ve seen reviews about the wooden slats, but I have no issues with mine, it could be because I have a good friend memory foam mattress that’s super think, my mattress fits perfectly and I don’t need a box spring to make it sit higher like I thought, my only con is I got this bed because I live in a loft with minimal closet space, and Mrs do too much (points at self) got a bed that was way too big for my area in my loft where my bedroom furniture should be, so it’s in my living room, it’s hard to explain how much this actually works for me because it’s like a studio apartment that has an upper area and now that’s where my couch will go! Love my bed it WAS NOT going back!

Not only did the slats break easily due to the design, the side storages don't flip open and have the lid has to be picked up and put to the side. Additionally, you cannot move the bed without risking breakage once you've set it. Most importantly, despite having a higher priced product than most, they do not treat customers well. Just to acquire some slats, they want to charge for the cost and shipping, whereas companies with good service would consider okay this customer paid a lot of money and the ask did assistance is very low, we should provide it as a courtesy. BUT these people are terrible with their support! I will never buy one of their products again.

This modern upholstered bed was easy to assemble, I purchased grey but comes in a variety different of colors. The gray is very shiny and gives not only a velvet look but feeling . Bed set looks exactly like the image. Set up took about a 1 or 2 , would take two people to assemble. Bed is very sturdy and comfy . Storage on the sides of the bed are spacious , could fit all my clothes plus extra blankets and sheets if needed . Will upload more reviews once bedroom is complete .

The bed is beautiful and huge!! I share my bed with my spouse, a Great Dane, and 2 schnauzers. Even with a king bed it was not uncommon to get pushed out of (or honestly fall out of all by myself) bed. The extra railing here means I haven’t woken up on the floor once since we got this! The dogs LOVE the side rails and lay on them so sometimes I even get half the bed!! It’s lower to the ground than a traditional frame and I love that. No dogs playing chase under the bed. Extra sheets and blankets are easily stored at the foot of the bed and things you use occasionally are conveniently store beside you. It is a bit harder to make than a traditional frame because the bed sits down in the frame but I imagine it would be a lot easier to change sheets period without a hundred pound Dane’s help... The only thing that makes it 4* is that dirt still gets up under the frame, so if you take the mattress out you need to sweep under it (hardwood floors), but with the slats installed it’s impossible. I might be able to get it with the vacuum attachment but to be honest, I just put the mattress back down. I chase enough dirt that’s obvious chasing after 12 paws!

I absolutely am so happy i purchased this bed. First things first, the bed is beautiful!!! The velvet is nice. I purchased the grey and it’s more like a dark silver metallic velvet. Delivery: They gave me a delivery time of 9am-3pm but didn’t come until after 3pm. Which annoyed me but what can I do? Assembly: Please don’t use the tools that come with it. The Allen key and mini wrench hurt! I read another review where someone used a drill that fits the Allen key head so I wish i read before i assembled. The instructions have 6 steps. The assembly took me 5 hours alone lol and irritated me but the end result was worth it. Sturdiness: Super heavy for me (i’m weak and have zero muscles) and it’s very sturdy Value for money: I purchased mine from Amazon and it was around $1200 which was expensive for me but worth it in the end. The surrounding storage is big and I have yet to fill it up! Overall: 5/5 stars would recommend!

The bed is beautiful! Definitely huge! If you have stairs and more than one flight like I do, don’t depend on Amazon Delivery to get it to your apartment. I had such a headache with Amazon Delivery. I had my bed delivered on December 12th but the women who delivered didn’t even try to bring it up the stairs. They didn’t even notify me they weren’t bringing it up to my apartment, I just so happened to over hear them over the intercom. I called Amazon to get someone to come bring it to my apartment and after a few calls it was scheduled for them to come back same day to bring it up but instead they came back and took it to the station without notifying me of this. I had to wait until the following week to finally get it redelivered and 1 of the 3 boxes were missing. Out of the 2 boxes they were only able to bring up 1 because the box was so long and wide but at least they tried. Next day is when the 3rd box was delivered and they couldn’t get it up the stairs. Best bet is if you live in an apartment with stairs, get it delivered to the best place you can and have someone take the pieces out the box in order to bring them in. Amazon is not allowed to do so. Other than the headache with Amazon Delivery, I love the bed! So worth the price!
