Angel Specialty Products, Blended Smoothie, Frappe Powder Mix, Watermelon [3 LB] [34 Servings]

I work in a mall and spending $6 a day on my daily boba smoothie was getting ridiculous. So I bought boba pearls, and also this smoothie mix. Tried it as it was recommended, which is mixed with ice and milk. Much too creamy tasting when I prefer watermelon flavors to be tart. So I blended it with passion fruit juice and it’s AMAZING. Absolutely love it! 30+ smoothies out of this bag, you can’t beat that!

I bought this and several other fruit-flavored powders to make boba tea at home, and this one, the Watermelon, is by far the most delicious. I like Angel products, and I've tried a few of their other flavors, but this one certainly sticks out as the most flavorful. I think it does taste like a very sweetened version of watermelon, think Jolly Rancher Watermelon but in boba/powder form. It makes great boba teas and also really good smoothies.

It tastes fine, mixes fine, don’t kid yourself and think it’s fresh watermelon. It’s very bubba bubble watermelon bubble gum flavor. It’s good if you lower your expectations and probably really good blended as a pink drink frappe

I didn’t like the original taste because it tasted too sweet, but…I concocted a recipe and now I can’t live without it. I add a little citric acid and OMG; It is delicious! The watermelon smells and tastes like you just had a real watermelon. I make batches of watermelon smoothies for the week! I put 1/2 cup powder to 3/4 cups of water; then I add ice, usually about 2 cups! You might want to experiment with the amount of ice depending on the consistency you like. I buy bags that are designed like capri sun kid drinks and put about 4 in my freezer. I make a full blender by repeating my recipe 3 times. The best part is putting a little bit of tequila in it after a painful day. I’m not a big drinker so I put about 1/2 an ounce in my smoothie!

Okay, so it does not taste good. Tasted like watermelon rind.......YUCK. No matter how much you stir or even try to blend it, it does not dissolve. Do not waste your money. You will be disappointed.

We bought a few different flavors of these this past summer and had fun making smoothies. The watermelon was our least favorite, well the kids still liked it but it was sort of off in flavor like it tastes too much like synthetic flavoring. Overly sweet and kind of weird. The honeydew was. Much better melon flavor.

Tastes great I mix it with milk, it has a smooth creamy watermelon flavor. Make sure to mix a little bit of what ever liquid you are using into the powder to make a smooth paste then add in the rest of the liquid. If you just add the powder straight into the liquid it will be hard to mix and you will have powder floating on top.
