Yummy daal
Would usually purchase at our local cash n carry stores, but due to covid doing purchases online. If you'd have told me 10 years ago that you can purchase daal online I would have laughed. They taste great btw. Excellent source of protein.

Tooth breaking mini rocks!
I soaked 1 cup of these for 9 hours and cooked for 35 mins then added to my curried veg. Sadly, every other mouthful had several rock like grains that risked the safety of my teeth! In total I had to remove over 20 from my mouth. It put me off my meal and I threw away the left overs (had batch cooked 6 portions) and I also threw away the remaining 1.75Kgs of dried beans. Total waste of money, food and time :(
