$40 for 4.5lb of food.I try not to let price factor in too much when it comes to our 6 dogs. After all, my food costs a decent amount, and I just accept that as a given. All that said, though, economic realities have made me switch to using Taste of the Wild as my pets' "base" food. On top of that, I give them a rotating variety of Orijen and Acana flavors.I decided to add ACANA Singles Formula Lamb & Apple to the lineup for me Tibetan Spaniel and Japanese Chins. They weight between 5 and 11 pounds, each, and two of them have small jaws and teeth. They're all able to eat the Acana easily, and seem to like it quite a bit. None of the dogs had any digestive problems with the food. Like most Acana bags, this one reseals easily.As for the price, I've since noticed that other sellers have the same product, with the same shipping speed, for about 15% less. That's significant.

This product was recommended to me by a dog owner after I mentioned that my dog has been chewing her paws. I was told that allergies are sometimes to be blamed and to give this a try. Well my dog loves this product and it seems that her paw chewing has indeed subsided, if not eliminated completely.

I use Acana. And my dog loves it. But this bag that I purchased for the price I was not impressed. Product was fine, just the price for the size of bag I received. Will still buy this product from my local Petstore. But I won’t buy it off Amazon, the bag was 2 sizes smaller then the one I purchase for the same price!! :(
