First Aid Manual (Dk First Aid): Written by John Ambulance, 2014 Edition, (10th edition) Publisher: Dorling Kindersley [Paperback]

Too long for my purposes.
This book is very comprehensive and I bought it following an RYA yachting First Aid course. Mainly because although the presenter did a good job his hand out was full of acronyms which I couldn't remember so I thought this would help. My problem with the book is it is far too long. It would be OK if you found this to be a really interesting subject and were reading it out of pure enjoyment, but I don't, it is only of interest through necessity. The patient would be dead long before you got to the bit where you found out how to save them!

Required reading for all.
It is what it sets out to be a 'first aid' manual. No more no less.
