Works great for cramps, muscle ache, or to keep your feet warm on particularly cold nights. Keeps heat pretty well, especially when bundled up under covers. Starts out pretty hot and then gradually cools, but stays at about body temp, unlike some water bottles.Does it smell of cherries? Yes, mostly right after heating, but your mileage may vary on whether this is a negative. The smell is fairly pleasant to me, and I've come to associate it with comfort. If you don't mind the smell of cherry pie cooking, you'll be fine.

I love the large size. It heats evenly and smells wonderful, unlike the flax filled microwave heating pad I have been using for several months. I also like the neutral color. I had a red one before, and the color bled onto my couch.

My family cannot get enough of these pillows! My kids literally argue over who gets which size pillow (we have the triple square pillows as well as a single square, all in maraschino). SO EASY and COMFORTABLE! The maraschino fabric is light-weight, but heavy enough so the MOIST HEAT doesn't actually get you wet! These pillows throw right in the washer/dryer in case anyone spills on them (though each time you microwave to heat, they are disinfected!!) I put one under the covers at my (and the kids') foot of the bed. As I wash up and get ready for bed, the pillow is heating up my sheets/bedding -- makes climbing into bed during the cold months so COZY! The small square is perfect for laying across 'yucky' tummies (sick/cramps!) or soothing ear aches. We love to wrap the triple square pillows around our feet on the couch, or draped around our necks like a scarf (as mine is now!!) I cannot say enough about these cherry pillows - I've gifted them to my parents, friends and in-laws. SUPER EASY for elderly use - microwave & washing machine friendly! My sister even puts her small pillows in the freezer - headaches, puffy eyes, sore muscles. Because the pillow gradually loses heat (or cold), they are totally safe to sleep with and for children. We LOVE Hot Cherry Pillows! I will be ordering more ASAP, you can't have too many! ;)

I don't use heating products that produce eletromagnetic frequencies due to the harmful effects on the body. I've tried many (MANY) non-electrical heating products but this one is the best so far. It's big, so can be worn around the top of the shoulders and neck, all the way down the back, wrap around the hips, or just hugged for warmth on a cold night. Great for headaches as you can fold it and tuck it around you wherever your head hurts. (I have fibromyalgia, so I get pain everywhere. And heat helps.)A totally natural product, without any dust or bugs. I have previously bought rice or bean filled wraps like this and soon they have tiny, itch-causing bugs in them and produce dust as the rice or beans get extremely dry and worn.The cherry pits have NONE of that problem! Great natural solution! And ZERO smell (the rice and beans got to smelling a little dusty).

I couldn't get the picture of some fat guy sitting in a recliner eating cherries and spitting them into a bowl in their factory out of my head.Heat Retention - Great at first, but after several months of use it retains only minimal heat for a short period of time.Cost - I paid more for this than any other microwave heating product I've purchased in the last 16 years.I use these types of heating products year round. For construction and design this is the BEST microwave heating product that I have ever purchased. It's a shame that it doesn't stay hot/warm longer. I'd buy another one, but the price is cost prohibitive...I'd have to buy one at least four times a year. At nearly $60.00, I can't justify it. For the casual/sometimes user I think this product would be great.

I needed a gift for my terminally ill father. He loved his old heating pad from like, 1970, but lets face it, that thing practically had exposed wires and just didn't seem safe to me. After some research, I stumbled upon the Hot Cherry pad.He really enjoyed it. It's great because you can heat it up for whatever length you'd like in the microwave. I got him the largest one, so 3-3:30 minutes was usually the sweet amount of time. It did indeed make the kitchen smell like warm cherries too. He would put it where it hurt or sometimes, just slide next to him in bed to keep warm. I liked that you never had to worry about "shutting it off", like a plug in.He loved it so much, that I bought one for myself! It's my favorite in the winter. My husband will heat it up for me and I'll just sit on the couch with it. It gets SO COLD in Cleveland in the winter, and this thing is a lifesaver. :D
