Poirot: The Complete Collection

I've been a fan for awhile. I took what I considered to be an entertainment risk, by trying something new. This edition even edits any suspect or foul language. (in my opinion) I heard that at least one place in Europe has blasphemy laws. My expectations were met, and I will continue to do business if necessary.

I love the south type movie. Theses are great and they don’t have nudity or gory scenes.

These Poirot dvd movies are the best. Full movies, 85-90 + minutes of 1930s English mysteries. Just the atmospheric that they provide can be enough to relieve modern stressful life. Love David Suchet.

I love to watch Poirot movies. However, two of four dvds don't have CC 😢

Very well-done if sometimes over-the-top. David Suchet is marvelous, as always, and the ensemble cast is good too. The production is in keeping with the time period of the novels, if not as literal, and just as formulaic to this jaded viewer. Suchet, though, makes it easy to overlook these slight drawbacks for the sheer pleasure of watching him.

David Suchet is the perfect Poirot. Love the longer viewing time of these, even though they can be choppy, as noted by other reviewers. Still, it's Poirot and well done: costumes, locations, acting, etc. I admit I prefer the Poirot 'episodes/movies' with Japp, Miss Lemon, and Captain Hastings. However, anything Poirot is good fun, especially watching to see how he thinks through and then resolves his various situations: the words he chooses, the timing, the delivery. Enjoy!

The DVD's I ordered were previously owned, but they were in very good condition and worked perfectly. Everything was as good or better than advertised.
