You can fold it in the hood when not needed and will stay there. If you are worried about the baggy look in my pictures is because I have ordered bigger size as he already has outgrown one from another brand that was a size bigger to start with and wanted to be sure it will be comfy as he climbs and jumps loads. Material is thin as this is what I was looking for but very well insulated and keeps them warm. I always put the puddle suit on top of boots to make sure water doesn't get in the boots and works really well. Even that day he went into small water "puddles" till his knees and was jumping in them and no water inside at all 😁👍

I chose the larger size for my almost 5yr old who’s perhaps slightly taller than average. It fits with plenty of room for extra layers beneath, however does ride up her legs a little in certain situations due to the crotch part being low and so impacting on the leg length.It recently got tested in a very very muddy forest school (post storm and fields nearby still flooded kind of muddy) and kept her very clean. Not particularly thick material but as mentioned there is plenty of space for layers, however she got frustrated with the hood falling back but she did like the clear visor on it.My main disappointment is that it’s been worn only once and put through the wash once (a brief cool wash at that) and the silver design to the cuffs of the sleeves and legs as well as the face pattern have all faded off already as shown in my photos.

As reviews say, its slightly on the aller size if you have an average or above average sized child. My son is 4 and wears size 7-8 i ordered the largest size, which allows him about 4 months of growing room. Also allows room for a light jacket under.Hes worn it a couple times, and its allowed him to stay mud free, havent tried it in full on rainy weather just yet so I don't know if it would keep him dry in such conditions.It is just thick enough that it doesn't rip while handling it, easy to clean, just whipe or wash off dirt. And it acts like a wind breaker, allowing him to conserve his body heat in the cold, meaning layer your child so he can remove things and not get over heated or to cold after removing clothing items.All in all, its a good product.

Finally we got to use it and I am absolutely happy with it. I got a bit bigger size just because my son is 4years but he wears 6-7 years old. It fits him perfectly and a bit loose but got it to be used next year plus the clothes underneath. We played for a very long time and he was in the snow almost constantly.. there was no wet clothes when we got home absolutely nothing wet. I can guarantee perfect quality toward not having wet clothes under. Asked him multiple times if he is cold but he always answered no so that speaks.

This is a great rain suit for children. The material is thin, but this is exactly what I was looking for. The suit has reflective stripes on the arms and legs, which is a nice plus. It looks durable and has withstand some very muddy weather already. It comes in it's own little bag, which I find quite nice for storage. The colour is a very nice bright pink and the hoody has a plastic transparent visor which can be pulled down over the face. This makes it this super practical for the rainy weather. My daughter is delighted with it. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

My daughter is a small 4,5 year old but bought size 5-7 and it fits well with space for coat underneath if cold. Long enough to cover wellies :)

I had read the reviews from other customers which highlighted that the sizes come up a little in the small side. My daughter is not yet 4 and she usually needs clothes aged 5-6 due to her height. I purchased the meduim which is meant to fit a child up to 7 years of age. Thankfully it fits her very nicely, but had she have been 5-7 years, there is no way it would fit unless she wanted to attend a fancy dress party as Hulks pink wife!Lovely product however. My daughter is very happy and excited, and it looks very adorable on! Perfect for a little girl who enjoys playing in the rain! Thumbs up thank you!

This is a very well made product. It is completely waterproof and has been an amazing product to have with us for rainy days when we’re out and about. It is worn over existing clothing including jacket to create a waterproof shell. The quality is great and the elasticated feet and arms create a snug and weatherproof fit. My 4 year old absolutely loves wearing it and other parents are always asking us where they can get one too.Highly recommended!
