Itzy Ritzy Silicone Teething Mitt, Soothing Infant Teething Mitten (Cactus)

I didn’t look at the size before I bought it so this was actually too small to fit on my son’s hand when I got it but he still likes it! He doesn’t use any of his teething toys for actual teething relief but he does like to chew on the sides sometimes, plus he likes the crinkle sound. He is in the “smack everything” stage so the hard top works well for that too as it holds up when he smacks it into all his other toys. Plus it is such a cute design!

Santa brought this mitt for my 3.5-mo, our second baby, and she loves it! At this stage, they're too little to manipulate toys by grasping, and even if they do manage to grab ahold of something, they lose it within a few seconds. Complicated by the fact that they're starting to get bored by just sitting and watching the world go by, and you get fussy babies. This is the only toy I've ever found that actually occupied my kid at this stage for longer than a couple minutes. At first I thought the mitt was too small, because her hand didn't fit in it flat, like a mitten. But then I realized that if her hand was balled up in a fist, it fits perfectly and then the velcro strap actually works to keep it on. A game-changer for car rides when I'm not able to help fetch a teether over and over. 10/10! I may buy another one in a different color/texture for variety.

My child always has his hands balled up so it doesn't slide on like I imagined. But it's way bigger than I thought it was be and though it's silicone its SUPER hard. Being that it is a dinosaur design, the spikes can be a little dangerous if your child is in the tossing and slamming stage. I have to monitor my child with it because when he gets frustrated he started slinging and banging it and has hit himself in the face and eye. So just be leery. With all of that, he still loves to nibble on it when he is calm and not fighting it.

My daughter loves the crinkle noise the white part makes. It's a good distraction sometimes when she starts getting fussy. Great toy!

Cute mitt, Velcro seems plenty grippy, however, the mitt is SMALL. It won’t fit on my 13lbs 4mo hands. My child’s hand cannot go in the mitt at all. Still plan to use it for a teether but the mitt will not work as originally designed.

Great concept but hard to deliver full use. My baby will hold it and teeth on it, but he refuses to keep it strapped on his hand, which was as expected. Better to get one with the “pointier” edges for a more soothing effect. Easy to clean silicone part of course but harder to clean cloth part. Takes a long time to dry, which is a down side.

My almost 4 month old, sits for hours a day gnawing on her hands. This keep the drool from soaking her hands and sleeves and helps with teething pain. It’s good quality so you don’t have to worry about it being a choking hazard. Very lightweight and easy for baby to hold!

My babies new favourite toy. She’s 2 1/2 months and just started wanting to have a soothing toy but doesn’t like pacifiers, and it’s hard to hold on to toys still so just strap this little thing on and away she goes! One side of the mitt portion is that crackly material which is fun, other side soft. Gently Velcro to hand. Can fall off if not attached firmly around arm just above wrist.

Seemed useful but didn't serve the purpose. High g difficulty to be used for babies.

I find the mit to be very narrow and doesn’t really fit my baby as he has rather large hands (4 months old). Cute but wouldn’t recommend for larger babies.

Our little one started to chew on her hands around 3 months old. We tried to introduce other teethers with little success as it was hard for her to hold them and keep them in her mouth. We stumbled upon these teething mitts and love them! She likes the crinkle sound they make as well as the patterns. We have the dinosaur one as we as the cactus and find the cactus one to be easier for her to manage. She tends to jab herself with the dinosaur one a bit more. We have noticed she doesn’t love to have the mitt on always when using it, and sometimes just holds the teething mitt - this makes it usable even if the mitt didn’t fit.
