Victorinox Swiss Army Cutlery Serrated Paring Knife, Spear-point, Large Handle, 3.25-Inch, Black

While dieting a few years ago, this knife was my best friend! I lived on protein shakes and salads. This knife and I BOTH got one he!! of a workout! I cannot even tell you how many miles of English cukes I’ve cut, or how many HUNDREDS of pounds of lettuce, spinach, cherry tomatoes, grapes, pickles, mandarin oranges, apples, peppers, celery, cooked chicken, etc. that this handy little thing has easily cut through. It is still sharp as new and cuts as well as the first day. (ALWAYS hand-washed.) It feels very comfortable in my (female) hand. I find it to be a very manageable size and, although EXTREMELY sharp and serrated, I do not feel unsafe using it. This thing will pierce and cut through a grape or a tomato like nobody’s business! You can get such thin slices of cucumbers too. Tiny gherkins? Not a problem…however thin you want them! Hard carrots? Effortless! I have bought a few of these for home and several of as gifts too. (Recipients all share my love of this knife!) I use this knife every day…it’s always the FIRST one I reach for…still my best friend. (Shhhh….please don’t tell my husband).

bought my first Victorinox paring knife about 30 years ago at a sheep & wool show. Believe me I paid a lot more than I pay for them now at Amazon. They fit my hand so well and are so useful, I've bought a bunch more over the years. I keep the in my camping and beach packs as well as keeping at least 3 on hand in the kitchen. Finding them on Amazon was a bonus since a mysterious person (probably my husband) tends to borrow them (or maybe I have elves?) Anway they are sharp and cut almost anything from f=veggies to meat.

We have other Victorinox knives and all of them are awesome. I bought the first one because it was reasonably priced and I didn't expect too much from it. Well, I tell you what...don't let the price tag fool you! They are well made knives: have a great grip even when wet, are easy to sharpen, and hold an edge well. My wife and I are very pleased with them. This paring knife is the latest addition and it is just as good as our other ones. Proof that you don't have to spend a fortune to get a good knife.

I am really impressed by how sharp this little blade is! I was a bit worried it may not live up to the other reviews, because it was such a low price. The blade is very sharp and it’s just the right size for paring. My only reason for not giving it a perfect score is the serrated blades aren’t as easy to clean as smooth blades, but it’s worth it! I can only suggest that if they ever revamp this product I hope they give it a sturdier and heavier handle.

This knife is a gift so I have not used it. However, I purchased it because I have been using my own Victorinox paring knife for years. It is the perfect knife - easy to use, cuts quickly and thoroughly.It comes highly recommended and I agree with the recommendation. What's more, its price makes it a bargain!

I didn't know how dull my other knifes were until I tried this one. So lightweight and the blade does all of the work. I'll be getting rid of all my other knives and replacing with this brand. They are amazing.

I have an almost identical knife that was bought over 20 years ago. I use this knife for sectioning grapefruit. I've started eating one every day, so I wanted another knife. This one appeared to be about the same and it is almost identical. The knife is very sharp and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have been using it for about six weeks now and I am very satisfied. It's also great for hulling strawberries.
