Must have
I love this stuff. Makes a great addition to beverages, adds flavor to any dish. A must for Asian or Indian cooing. Smell ands tastes like ginger, nothing artificial. Some lemon juice with this makes a wonderful tea.

It's the Real Deal
This GP juice is awesome; it's pure, natural, and organic. My husband suffers from GERD, and I’ve found that ginger helps, so I've been making ginger juice until now. I appreciate that this product is 99% ginger juice, and I no longer need to wash, trim, and peel the gnarly ginger root (which has often resulted in cuts on my fingers). Plus, I don't have to clean all the parts of my juicer anymore! Thank you for creating such a great product and for making my life easier!

Excellent, and here’s why——
I have been buying fresh ginger at a big “international” grocery store to make hot ginger “tea” (nothing but filtered water with raw chopped ginger steeped for an hour + organic NOW stevia powder—no actual tea leaves etc) for six years straight. It took a while, but it brought down my serum inflammatory markers and cut my pain level by half. But the fresh ginger wasn’t organic and that which was available in other stores was puny and often too dried out to even yield any flavor. I needed to eliminate as much glyphosate as possible. Then I saw this. Who knew?I was wary of buying the 32oz size of this product because of some negative reviews, so ordered a single 5oz glass bottle instead to try.I left it unopened on the counter for five days and it separated—clear on top, thick ginger colored stuff halfway down. Finally decided to add some to my water kefir to see if I could achieve anything approaching commercial ginger ale. (Even 0.5 lb of grated very fresh ginger in 48 oz lacked the longed-for bite.) I think what most people don’t realize is that ANY ginger tastes hotter/spicier when WARM. In a cold drink or salad it loses something. I don’t think I would substitute this for fresh grated or juiced ginger in say, salad dressing or fermented veggies. But it’s a very good substitute for my steeped ginger hot drink in the morning, and very fast. It does lack a bit of the bite I was looking for to magically transform my water kefir into Canada Dry, but not by much!Re the “lumpy” product pics that one person posted, I have to share what my son (a pastry chef in a VERY high end restaurant) said about this. He saw the tiny bit left in my 5oz bottle and asked where I’d gotten it? “Where else—Amazon.” He said they buy it for use in the restaurant. My eyebrows went up because the menu doesn’t seem to have anything requiring ginger in any real quantity. He said he uses it. “For what? I don’t see your customer base paying $18 for gingerbread!” Silly me. He makes ginger sorbet and likes this because it makes a nicely gingery ice onto which he grates a bit of fresh, etc etc. (I’m sworn to secrecy for the rest.) If he made it with 100% fresh, it would be a one-note dessert and awful. Overpowering. Its lack of fibers is a big plus. That it separates and can be lumpy didn’t matter at all he said, anymore than steaks being sold raw at the grocery store matter. “It’s an INGREDIENT, not a finished product,” he said, which is a good point. So don’t expect a 1:1 equivalent, or for it to be smooth all the time. It’s unrealistic. I’m ordering the 32oz bottle. Because the larger size is in plastic, I might transfer it to glass, but I kinda think it’s going to be gone too quickly for me to be concerned.....

Really yummy stuff
Ginger People make high quality stuff. I add a little bit to a tall glass of water, with or without a sprinkle of monk fruit. The one drawback with these bottles is that they are completely open at the top, designed to just pour directly out. BUT I discovered that the cap to a Tabasco bottle will fit perfectly across the top (this one is still stained red)! Yay! Now I can use it judiciously; it helps justify the cost. Plus avoid the hassle of trying to dispense it into another bottle, which would honestly be a deterrent to buying it. Hope this tip helps someone else out there.

Yes, more please!
Yummy. Potent. Authentic. It's exactly what it says on the tin, no more, no less, and that's perfect.A little goes a long way, but you tend to get over that pretty quickly, for two reasons:Number one: it's delicious and makes you feel good. You'll adjust to the zing because you want to.Number two: you'll probably use more than you meant to simply because of the bottle's design. It's a little hard to control how much you use, the top of the bottle is just open, there's no shakey-thingy or pouring spout, you can't shake some out like hot sauce or slowly pour it out like soy sauce or olive oil. It's very difficult to use in a precisely measured way. There are some things that lose potency or taste quite differently when they're bottled, dried, juiced, or jarred, or otherwise not absolutely made-right-now-fresh. Garlic especially, but also mustard seed, horseradish, most garden vegetables, and more. Ginger, however, retains almost all of that right-now-fresh flavor, at least when it's done right, and the Ginger People certainly do it right.I make a carbonated lemonade that this turns into the only thing I ever want to drink. Great in a lot of beverages, in fact, hot or cold. A real time saver when cooking too, as it delivers the flavor of fresh ginger perfectly, and you don't get woody fibrous pieces of ginger in your food. A perfect ginger-delivery ingredient in almost every way.Highly recommended. I'm graduating to the larger size, 5 oz. isn't nearly enough.
