As long as they are wide-jmouth they will fit any size jar.

can these be used with a nurtichef vacuum sealer hose attachment?

I can’t really say since I have never done that. The pump it comes with is fine. I have used these tops for a few years and they work great .

With this kit do you still need to pound the veggies before inserting in the jar?

(We want these to remove work from you - not add any). Also, if you add a starter culture that magnifies the amount of probiotics, the veggies will ferment perfectly even without pounding them first.
