This impeller is used on the P1730C pump. The shaft for this pump is 3/4" in diameter

Does this come with a paper gasket?

No, it comes with the o ring for end cover but there is no paper gasket in the internal assembly of that pump. Unless the pump has to be removed from the engine, everything necessary to change impeller is in the kit.

Why doesn't it come with a paper gasket?

Hello, The Sherwood 17000K impeller kit only comes with an oring. If your pump uses a paper gasket, then this might not be the correct impeller for your pump.

Is the Sherwood 17000 and 17000K the same?

Yes, 17000 is the impeller alone, 17000k is that impeller with end cover o-ring and woodruff key along with hole cap for center of impeller. Thank You
