I just received it and from what I see it is really nice. It is for my 9 (almost 10) year old grandaughter and I know she is going to love it on Christmas. It is a great size for a young person, I actually wouldn't mind having one like it. I started teaching her to thread a needle and do simple repairs or sewing projects by hand. She now wants to graduate to fashioning clothes for all her dolls, something I did when I was a girl and so did my daughters.

Holds sewing supplies, but is cheaply made
I bought this sewing box because my mom had a Singer sewing box from the 80s and I loved it growing up. When this came in, I was shocked at how much worse the quality is. The roping around the box and the handle are plastic, the pin cushion, buttons, and pockets are hot glued on and aren't very secure (my box came to me with the button already fallen off. I had to repair it myself.) and the accessory tray is flimsy plastic. The supplies it comes with would be good for beginners, but they are such bad quality I put them away in favor of my other tools. I attempted to use the seam ripper to see if it would be worth keeping, and it struggled to cut DMC embroidery floss. I predict I will not have this sewing box for life like my mom's. I'll stick with this one for now, but I'll be looking for a better one to replace it ASAP.

Great for Grandaughter (teen)
My granddaughter doesn't sew. I am mostly a hand sewer. Taught her how to do a button and other simple repairs (using a darner) bought separately.

Não gostei do produto. Muito abaixo das expectativas. A Parte de dentro veio descolada e os pés estão desiguais o que deixam a caixa "manca". Frustrada com a compra.

Buy bigger.
Poorly packed. In box with no packing so bent when received. Manage to straighten so I filled with notions. Should have got the larger one. Had to store my threads elsewhere
