It even helped me once when there was a roach on a plastic shopping bag. The bag had things in it I needed, so the possibility of it crawling into it was horrifying. I knew if I sprayed it, it would probably escape into the bag before it died. So instead, I grabbed my critter catcher and somehow managed to snatch it off the side. (I've gotten quicker the more I've had to deal with them.) I was then able to carry it out to my porch and spray it as soon as I released it. The roach was unable to escape the grabber, which is actually something I'd wondered about. I usually just use it for picking up dead ones. BUT IT WORKED. And I am so pleased. I tell everyone about it every chance I get.

When a friend shared My Critter Catcher on his Facebook page, I was so happy, because I have been wanting a kind spider catcher for years. When I bought it, I was worried that it would not capture small spiders as well as the large spider in the demonstration video, but it does. I captured and released one the other day. The small spider hurried unharmed into my backyard.

I can't kill small creatures and this little device has saved me so much time. Gone are the days of: find a Tupperware... move fast... hope to grab creature... slide paper under Tupperware... take outside and release. With this, I've caught everything (spiders, bees, lizards, frogs, etc.) and I can safely relocate the critters. It's a great invention that I wish I had earlier.

I'm always asking my husband to save bugs, so he got me this as a gag gift. However, we've actually used it on multiple occasions! I was worried the bristles would squish the softer bugs when it picks them up, but it hasn't harmed one bug that we've save. My husband even managed to catch a fly that landed in the corner of the window. He took it outside, released it, and it flew away unharmed. If it had been a little cheaper, I'd have ordered a second one for my classroom since I'm always saving bugs with a cup/paper there.

This could use a tad more power but wow, what a relief to have this in my home. Spiders are everywhere and I'm afraid of them but I can't harm them so this is a Gods send. Just a little more power please!

No worrying about having to get up close to catch a spider with a cup or risking marks on stuff if I smash a spider. And for that matter, no more feeling horrible about killing an innocent bug because I no longer feel like I have to resort to that. One day I hope to have one for every floor of my house! This should be a staple for every home.

This thing is amazing. I definitely struggle with the dilemma of not wanting buggers in my house but also not wanting to kill them. THIS SOLVES IT! it keeps me far enough away from them and grabs them the first time! super easy to use. and then i get the happy conscious of releasing them outside to go on their happy way.
