Light, strong, good quality and easy to clean.
Recently I started baking again - after a 20 year hiatus - and ordered this utensil set to use with the new non-stick pans I bought. As I came in the door from work; my husband (who is the real cook in the family) had already opened the package, washed the utensils, had them drying in the rack and greeted me with "These are beautiful"!!I find them to be very nice, sturdy, good quality, exactly as advertised and they get the job done.My husband is very excited that they are made of sustainable bamboo and are eco-friendly. He also likes the flat, wide handles which he notes are easy to use and have an ergonomic grip. They are hard so they dry quickly and most importantly he noted that they are each crafted of a single piece of bamboo - not strips pressed together - therefore they won't break apart or split.

A good deal
So far, these are pretty reasonable utensils. I got them for the most part as an art project, as you can see in the picture. They are pretty good for the price so far, but I haven’t seen how they hold up over time. I have gotten multiple splinters while seasoning them, but now that they have been oiled, they are holding up better. I will be using them when I cook, so I will update in a couple months. Other than that, they are wood, so you can’t put the in the dishwasher and they will need to be seasoned with oil before the first use and after most successive uses.

Not the best, not the worst bamboo set
This is a nice set for the price but there are some issues (see photos.) There are a couple of flaws on some items such as one hanging hole not being cut thoroughly, a few chips especially off the top of a spoon, loose splinters and a few rough spots. The discoloring on the slotted spoon unsure if this is typical of bamboo. I did soak and air dry with olive oil per instructions. For my usage, I’m keeping them and they’ll do the job however I would not buy again or purchase them to give as a gift. Check the length as they don’t fit into my utensil drawers.

Great Spoons for Intimidation.
I gave these spoons to my mom for Christmas. When she opened them up, her face filled with glee. I instantly realized that she wanted these spoons to remind my brother and I of our childhood. She instantly called us out by our full names and started to count to 10. I knew just by looking at these spoons that they would break for no one, and would be good for multiple uses. Plus best thing, they're a renewable resource, so buying more wouldn't hurt our environment, if one should happen to break during "use".

This and sandpaper!
I got these for our house because wood is the best and these looked good but when I washed them after getting then my sponge was sticking to the rough parts and imperfections, if you buy these get sand paper as well

Decent
I really like bamboo cookware for my non-stick pots and pans. However, these are not the smooth variety - they're like raw wood, open and porous. I still use them but am concerned about how clean they get during washing. I would not recommend putting these in the dishwasher as that might further erode the rough finish.

Will order again...
... actually, i have to order again, i keep using them for my acai smoothies and they keep getting chewed up, then i gotta pick through the acai mixture to pull out pieces of the wooden spoon... sad... even sadder that i keep doing it... i know there is a plunger for the vitamix but i already chewed that up... maybe i have a problem.

Good quality bamboo spoon set
This utensil set is much thicker and more sturdy than other sets I bought and returned. Also it just has a few splinter that goes away after 1st wash and smooth with some cooking oil as their inclusive direction. Other hand, the turner spatulas are so thick, can’t actually flip or turn food, only can use for stir food.
