Safety
The paracord feels very sturdy and very well made, it's not super expensive as other brands. It is easy to maneuver while I'm connected. I got a second paracord same as this one too keep it in my truck for any emergency.

This will definetly do the job.
Just keep in mind it's not light. You know it's on your harness when you're hitching up a tree. It's great as a working line after your up. If your crazy you can have someone pull you up with a wench (or truck). IT IS STRONG as anything keep track of the abrasion this is a medium cover, so far bark hasn't ate it yet. EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION! I don't know how it will hold up to hickory or oak. Mesquite, Pine, and Sisso has not damaged mine.

Wish version of a true blue
I read all the reviews before buying. One person compared it to a true blue. My photo shows a side by side comparison of this rope next to a true blue. It's kinda similar but stiffer. Slightly thinner but not much. Lower quality fiber but seems ok. It's knotting ability is OK. Not even close to true blue as far as knots go, but it can do the knots and form a prusik. This rope reminds me a stiff old true blue that has been retired to bull rope. Behaves similar anyways. This rope can do taughtline. It's really great deal for what it is.Person commentimg about their prusik wadding up. I think the rope milked. Thats why he had issues. It's normal for most ropes. True blue doesn't milk but I have a feeling this one will as it has a core. True blue does not have a coreNot sure what else to ad. Just putting this out there for the other curious arborists. Go ahead and buy it if you need it. I tried this rope and its good enough.

Arborist Rope
Used for trimming the large limbs from several oak trees in the front yard. Performed as expected and at a very fair price compared to like products. Would recommend for tree trimming around the home.

My First Climbing Line
In my opinion this is a good starter rope for climbing. I use the DRT climbing method along with body thrusting. The rope holds the Blake's friction hitch with no problems, hasn't slipped on me yet. The only downside I have with the rope is it has a memory and must be straightened every so often. All in all for my first climbing rope I pat myself on the back.

Highly disappointed after first use
When the rope arrived it was neatly packaged and seemed very good and met my speciations, first climb with the rope while I was in the tree tied in and ran around ascendin, decending, limb walking ect. The rope did well and I was comfortable, until I got done and repelled down to drop the 40ft stem once I got 3/4 of the way down the log the friction was getting to tight and didn't seem right, so I checked it out and noticed the outer cover had separated from the inner core and was all stretched above my prusick and pulley and loose and swelling up causing to jam up my pull and stress and bind up in my prusik cord, after carefully getting on the ground I noticed a where the inner core had pulled through the outer core on the tail I never climed on it was on the ground the whole time I was in the tree. Needless to say I bought another rope from my local arborist supplier on my way home. I was highly disappointed with this rope, if they would offer me an exchange for a new one that is guaranteed not to be like this one I'd be willing to try it. But still hesitant. I finally moved it and tried to see if I could repair it tonight but not willing to try it again. So I figured I'd right this review. I know some things are duds from factory but this is supposed to be a life line.

I have been climbing for 40 years THIS IS GOOD ROPE
The price is low and there is no difference in the quality that I can observe between it and the other brands that all tree climbers know about. I don't think I am allowed to mention their names but one of the names is true and also blue and the other one is a bible character who had long hair and was very strong but his girlfriend betray him and he lost his strength.
