Enduring Quality and Functionality!
WOW! I bought these back in October of 2019 almost 5 years ago, and they stay in our cars for emergencies. I pulled one out recently (that had old eneloop rechargeable AAA batteries that are who knows how old) and it worked ~ all night long and half of a second night. I am impressed! I had put it under the car to scare off a packrat until I could buy and install a Rid-A-Rat (these work great, BTW). We keep these magnetized water tight orange flashing lights in the cars to stick (via their strong magnet) onto the outside of our car in the event we get stuck in snow or break down. They also have a little hanger that can be used for hanging in a tent for light while camping or while replacing a flat tire in low light. They have so many light settings and such a strong magnet to stick to your car. And with rechargeable Eneloop AAA batteries apparently they are going to keep working for years. I don't recall what batteries they originally came with, but the product still functions as advertised and that is remarkable. I bought 12 so I could have several for each vehicle. The only complaint is that they are hard to open to replace (or recharge) batteries, but if you have patients and a small slot head screwdriver, you can unscrew the two screws with a phillips head or slot head, then pry the water-tight seam open with a slot head screwdriver. I will buy more ~ good gifts for Preppers and those who need more reliable light in their lives. Also good for impromptu roadside disco party. Cheers!

Excellent Value - Super Bright!
Just as essential as a first aid kit and a portable tire inflation kit, and if you live in the northern states (like me) a ice scraper with brush! Super rugged! I deliberately threw one of these down on the concrete floor in my garage (I didn't baby it, I chucked it pretty hard) and despite the minor scuff mark, it didn't crack or break and worked like a champ! Bright lights! The LED lights are very bright, you can easily see them in daylight from quite a distance. I also like the fact that you have a choice of several flashing modes just by pressing the button. Need a flashlight? These also come with 3 LED bright white lights built in, just double press the button. Place them on the ground or use the strong magnet on the back to attach them to your car. They also have a pull out plastic hanger if you prefer not to use the magnets and want to hang them on something. Easy to store in your vehicle with the included zippered case. I like the fact that the flares (and case) are bright orange so they are easy to find if you have a "busy" trunk or have them tucked away in the back of your SUV. Someone put a lot of thought into these when they were designed, they really covered the bases! I highly recommend these. Not only are they great for all the reasons above, they're an excellent value. You simply can't go wrong with these!

Yet to test in real life
When I got these LED road flares, I was immediately impressed with them. Solid and well constructed with thick, reinforced plastic. The rubber parts were made of a high quality rubber. This rubber seemed good enough to survive much more than I ever planned on putting these flares through. The plastic was definitely NOT the cheap, thin stuff so many products are using these days. You know the, it's so thin it's amazing that it didn't crack and shatter during shipment kind? The flashlights on these units were more powerful than I expected. Always a win here! The waterproof sealing band appeared to be very high quality. To my eyes, it appeared that the closing edges, where the band was located, was consistent between all the units and looked to provide a really good waterproof seal. While it did take me just shy of 60 years and 5 grandkids later to round up and install 3 AAA batteries in each and every one...which had 2 high quality screws needing in/out 😉😜. All kidding aside, it DID take quite some time to get them all open, batteried up, closed and tested. This is why only 4 stars for the category, "Easy to Install". A couple thoughts, if I may: 1. I'd love to see a replaceable, rechargeable battery used instead of the alkaline batteries. Perhaps even using one of the newer cells, as in a 18650 I see in so many electronic devices today? The battery and it's external charger could either be included or sold separately, depending on how it would affect pricing. Batteries of the 18650 kind aren't affected by cold the way alkaline batteries are. Be REALLY nice to be free to leave them in my car during winter without fear of running into dead batteries when I go to use them. Obviously, including a battery would raise the cost by far more than most people realize. Selling them separately MIGHT fix this problem. 2. Instead of screws, how about a quick release? As these flares are NOT tamper proof to start with, how about exchanging the screws for some kind of a quick release instead? And yes, I am resisting the urge to test these under ANY water of ANY kind. You see, I love them! And I just could never, just, just never face their families if anything bad ever happened to them! 😜 (Yeah, not gonna risk losing my investment) I haven't been able to test them in real life yet, nor in the rain. I did however, test them indoors with the lights out and they were exceptionally bright. For now, I've checked each and every one to be sure every function checks out and they were all working perfectly! I feel I can say with confidence that I expect these LED Road Flares will perform exactly as advertised!

An excellent product
I was considering options for road hazard warnings for the cars in our family (5) and had considered actual road flares. But they are way too expensive and they're gone in just a short amount of time. I used to use them in years past, but the expense was just getting to be too much for an expendable item. We also have the reflective warning triangles but the case of three tend to be bulky and difficult to store in smaller cars. Started researching other options and came across these. Very impressed with the overall build and functionality of these. Easy to keep handy in our cars for quick use and with six of them in each zipper case, I believe these are more than adequate to help warn other drivers if we were to have a breakdown on the road. As stated in the product description, there are 9 different warning options but frankly only the first 5 settings are really effective to warn others. The last 4 settings are more for general warning in a static environment (steady bright, low light steady and one or two lights pointing in one direction, steady non-blinking). But the three LED bright light on the top of each unit would be exceptionally useful if you don't have a flashlight handy. Also, I like the switch's functionality. You can turn the unit off at any point with a single long hold on the button. The units' construction seems to be very solid, and although I didn't test them, they appeared to be made well enough that they should be pretty water-resistant.

good investment/great product
bought this as a gift after a family member had a blow out on a toyhauler on the freeway. Pulled over to right side but jack he needed to use put him dangerously right next to white line. We were following so pulled over and were signaling for vehicles to switch lane. Traffic moving at about 70mph, semi's were great, but many others just speed by without moving over and leaving only inches between them and and him to change tire. Its was scary to say the least. Lots of inconsiderate drivers on the roads. This happened in daylight! These are super bright, lots of settings and easy to quickly put out to give a heads up. Now a days you need to have flares, triangles and these for optimum visibility!

Bright and Adjustable Light
I have yet to use these lights, but after installing MY batteries and running them through their paces, they look to be very useful. They have a hook and magnet for mounting under your hood, or to the side or top of your car. Besides the amber warning lights around it's perimeter, it has white lights for working or inspecting. I have no idea how long the batteries will last. (Again, these lights DO NOT COME WITH BATTERIES, and they each light takes 3 AAA, so buy a large package of them) Overall they seem like they will be very useful, and seem to be water tight. If needed in a road ride emergency they should do a good job alerting drivers to your presence. I am going to buy more sets for my RV and other cars.

Don't get caught without these.
No one should be without these. Make sure you have this many of these. They are of high quality, they are durable and make your auto to be seen from a much longer distance than if you didn't have them. Put them on the road or stick it to the car.
