Easy to fit and worked perfectly
The valve in the tank in my attic stopped working so I ordered this as a replacement. It came the following day, was easy to fit and worked perfectly.

Brass part 1 ball valve.
The ball-float valve is well made, excellent quality. Unfortunately I made 2 mistakes when ordering. It was chose because it is mostly brass, to replace the older noisy valve which is mostly plastic. It turns out that a 'part 1' valve does not comply with water supply regulations for this use as it discharges downward. Also, unlike part 2, it is not adjustable and the ball can't be turned to miss the loo tank side. I am not sending i back as this was my fault. We have now ordered a fully adjustable valve, (plastic) designed for a loo flush tank. A shame we can't use an all metal valve.
